I visit Las Palmas regularly every year, and every year I come here to dine. In the past, I have always been with friends, but last Saturday evening I was on my own due to a tragic illness that befell the friend with whom I normally travel. I asked for a table outside as usual, not making anything of it, mentioning it was for me only: without even looking at me the waitress irritatedly said I could not sit outside as I was on my own and pointed to the inside instead.
