Both the rooftop floor manager and the bar staff are incredibly rude and judge you based on your appearance. If you don’t look like someone with a big wallet, they apparently treat you with complete disregard. There’s clearly a lot these two individuals don’t know about there guests, but that’s beside the point. The level of service and quality this time was nothing like it was when we visited in January this year. Now it's was 20/12-2024 and Christmas time.

My partner and I are passing through and have visited this island and hotel multiple times throughout 2024. However, this time, I truly did not feel welcome at their rooftop bar. We weren’t bothering anyone, just sitting quietly at our table, but all we experienced was what felt like envy and disdain. The staff made unnecessary remarks towards us as guests, which we did not appreciate. Went from one place to this rooftop, level of service skills is a big difference here.

No one paying someone’s wages should have to endure such behavior at an upscale rooftop bar. I don’t understand why people in lower-paid jobs feel entitled to verbally target us and still expect a tip for good service. The treatment we received completely ruined our visit and our moment in the sun, throwing off our vibe and feelings.

We went for an experience that only left us with bad memories. My advice is to spend your money where the staff is committed to delivering high-quality service without unnecessary comments like we encountered at this rooftop bar.

Terraza Belvedere, where patience pays off, and Alberto orchestrates liquid symphonies with the finesse of a cocktail virtuoso. It's a place where time slows down, and the art of mixology meets the dance of service – all thanks to the unwitting heroes: the chronically impatient patrons.

Picture this: eager patrons, their impatience growing like a well-shaken cocktail, decide five minutes is an eternity and storm off in search of instant gratification. Little do they know; they've unwittingly created a VIP seating lottery. We, the patient connoisseurs, seized the opportunity, claiming the best seats in the house while others sprinted towards the illusory finish line of speedy service.

Alberto, our maestro of mixology, deserves applause for not only crafting libations that could make Hemingway shed a tear but also for maintaining his composure amid the impatient exodus. The ambience was enriched by the subtle symphony of sighs as our less patient comrades departed, leaving behind a wake of opportunity for those with a knack for leisurely appreciation.

So, if you fancy a drink in the lap of irony, where the best things come to those who wait (and laugh at the hasty), Terraza Belvedere is your stage. Amazing place to enjoy Las Palmas beautiful sunsets. Extensive lists of cocktails at reasonable prices (given the privileged location) and excellent service, the person who was serving the tables that day was really attentive at all times. I also saw them deal with an entitled idi*t who was demanding for an ashtray to be removed, in a really friendly and professional manner.

I only had a cosmopolitan, which was good, so I can’t rate the food. But just for the cocktails, the views and the ambiance, this place is certainly...
