TKO Tacos | Calle Sagasta — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

I love the location on Calle Galicia and I go there at least once a week. I live in Las Canteras so I was thrilled to find out there was a location closer to me but after my first experience there today, I will never go back. The margaritas weren’t frozen yet (at 5pm on a Sunday) and they were horrible tasting compared to the other location. Then, when the tacos arrived, they were only half as full as they make them at the other location. When I told this to the waitress with long black hair and a tattoo on the back of her right shoulder, she sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes and said they look exactly like the other location then walked away from me before I could respond. She then proceeded to talk poorly about me to her coworkers and I heard every word as I was seated next to the kitchen. It’s obvious from the photo that even the one taco tinga de pollo has WAY less than the other but even the “full” tacos aren’t as full as they make them at the other location. It also took twice as long to get the food than at the other location. And the people at the other location are much nicer. Don’t waste your time or money here. Again, the location on Calle Galicia is great but I will never waste another euro or minute at the Las Canteras location. All around bad experience and horrible...

If I could give more stars, I would. This is one of the best bites I've had all of 2024. Service is great, very fast, fairly priced and is some of the best quality Mexican food I've had ever, they offer a range of Jarritos and sell Mexican hot sauces and tortillas to make some amazing food at home yourself. Honestly this place has made the entire holiday so great for me and the place I have gone to everyday of my trip for an amazing bite to eat (multiple trips on some days). They are quite friendly with tourists and offer great seating by the promenade for some sun, good food and great tequila. If you are a tourist visiting, someone recently moved out here or a local who somehow hasn't tried TK Tacos, I don't reccomend anywhere else, the food is that good...

Very unfriendly service from a young brown haired girl server ; the server yells at you and throws your coat at you because you are sitting down at a table while one of us orders for you at the service desk for no apparent reason (despite the fact that there were a total of 20 free spots, and 3 people ordering at the desks). Continued to yell at you so as you decide to leave. The presence of a beach view doesn’t give you the right to treat paying customers with disrespect. We were also not provided access to a manager to bring this to their attention so that this would not occur in the future. Highly unprofessional staff.
