This is clearly a place that locals love, and what better recommendation than that. As tourists, we were made to feel welcome and weren't rushed when taking our time over deciding what tapas to choose. At around €33 for 8 tapas dishes, cheese on toasted ciabatta, and 4 drinks (coffee, lemon iced tea, orange juice and a diet coke), I can't imagine getting better value in many other places. We had, between the 3 of us that had tapas, anchovies, potato alioli (although i did ask for a stuffed egg this was still nice - our lack of Spanish probably didn't help!), pork in tomato sauce, meatballs in tomato sauce, meatballs in almond sauce, and beans with ham (I'm still unsure of this one but that's just my taste and if you don't try you'll never know) . Bread was provided to make sure no sauce was left. Everything was prepared very quickly and was very tasty. The only point I'd make is that for tapas, you may be struggling if you're a vegetarian. However, there are other choices, such as sandwiches and salads. *Photos are of beans with ham and meatballs in almond sauce.

As soon as I took the first bite out of my food, I knew this was a brilliant restaurant. I ordered orange juice, meatballs and pork tapas. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the pork and meatballs were the perfect temperature. The meals took 5-10 minutes to arrive but for the cheese toastie, it took less than 5. The waiter didn’t speak much English but she still managed to understand everything that we ordered and we managed to understand her too. This is an amazing tapas bar and would highly recommend.

I stumbled upon this place late on a Saturday morning while I was having a stroll down the beach in Malaga. I was pleasantly surprised by their menu and the low cost of their service and food. Their Americano was delicious, the orange juice was freshly squeezed, and their Serrano ham sandwich was delectable. At the end of my trip, I’m travelling on a budget and this definitely hit the spot. Not to mention you have an impeccable view of the promenade and the waterfront.

There's an extremely rude woman (40s ish) working here. On July 16 I sat down, ordered, was served and the she wanted to move tables around. I've no problem with this, per se, but the way she did it was so rude. She yelled at me a number of times in Spanish (She knew I couldn't speak Spanish but chose to yell instead of gesture politely). Obviously I had no idea what she wanted. So then she literally grabbed my table with one hand and dragged it over to where she wanted it, nearly spilling my coffee and oj. I mean, I was literally mid putting a piece of toast I my mouth when she did this. And she was telling so everyone was looking and it was very embarrassing. Why place the tables like that in the first place if you are then going to move them?...

Although the food isn’t the best, it’s not bad, however, the service is, I was not aware of the hate towards tourists here in Malaga, if I knew earlier I wouldn’t have came at all, I did not know about the current issues, but I do not think it is okay to be treated the way I was by the restaurant staff, ignored, they would serve others and skip me, wouldn’t come to me to give me my bill I had to go up and give the money to them myself, dirty looks, anyways I think their goal was exactly that, to not make tourists wanna come back,...
