New coffee place ‘on the block’. It’s a nice one, i really like the food and the ingredients they use. A big plus is that they also open on Sundays. The flat white was not as strong as in other specialty coffees but overall still good) just a matter of preference. …….. After giving it more than 5-6 tries i have to change my review. It has so much potential but the owner (who also makes the coffee) doesn’t know how to manage it and it really takes your mood away. There are too many ‘misunderstandings’ at this point. If it’s auto service, put a sign. So simple. If i order something to go and then go to use the restroom don’t give my coffee away to the next 2 people that came after me and then make me wait again to prepare another one. If i just finished my food, don’t come back 2 seconds later and spray clean the table in my face. I haven’t left yet. If my bottle of water is still have full, don’t just take it away assuming i’m done. Ask first. If you want to close early one day, that’s fine. Just let people know in advance, at least 20-30 min so they finish their orders. There were 3 other tables besides me on that day and he came telling everyone ‘sorry we close in 10’. I had to take my half muffin and finish it outside. Ridiculous. When everyone stood up to leave a bigger group came asking for coffee to go and guess what, he was no longer in a rush to close the place. He agreed to make all orders while the rest were rushed to exit the place. Rudeness disguised in ‘kindness’. They are plain weird.

First, this is a very cozy place on a wonderful Malaguetta beach in Malaga. There is just a handful of tables in it, but if you're lucky enough to get here for the opening and take the furthest table, you will be in for an absolutely fantastic treat - sunrise over the sea with a stunning coffee experience. Or breakfast if that's what you're looking for. I was here for specialty coffee. Traveling to Malaga from Barcelona on our Spanish trip, I was looking for a good coffee place. While in Barcelona I was enjoying Nomad coffee. And to my amusement, I found out that the place right near the house where we rented an apartment, was working with beans from that same roastery! And just like in Barcelona, I was met with a wide selection of coffee varieties to select from. The brew was great! I would like to separately note the guys working here. I was asking questions about different beans they had on offer that day (there was one from El Salvador and one from Columbia). And I was not only offered to taste the batch brew with other Columbian bean (I was considering some V60 or Aeropress) but also was offered to compare espresso with both varieties, one of which is a complement. That's the experience hard to find. And last, but not least, l've had avo toast with salmon and poached egg with freshly squeezed orange juice. Just wonderful! All in all, the place is amazing, food is great, but you really come here for the cosy atmosphere to enjoy amazing coffee.

The food was overall good. The Spanish omelette was delicious (missing a bit of salt or flavor but okay), and the Bikini toast was okay too. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff were warm and welcoming, which made the visit nicer. That said, I did have a tough time with the coffee. It came out quite bitter, which was surprising, especially when looking for a specialty coffee experience. Typically, I expect something a bit more refined in taste, especially given the care that usually goes into both the beans and the barista’s craft. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish mine. I was initially thinking of giving three stars, but I truly believe this is something that can be easily improved, perhaps just a matter of adjusting the measurements or extraction. I really hope to return in the future and enjoy a better cup, because everything else was lovely.

I was disappointed by a very rude staff. I ordered coffe for takeaway and sat by the table, I was asked to leave the table even though there were free tables and price was the same. I had to wait over five minutes next to vacant tables!! Normally I drink part of coffe inside and then leave with the rest of it. Unacceptable!!

The owner's response is not true because I was already by the table when other guests came in. There were at least two vacant tables, but only for two people each. I was in a group of four!! In two minutes after we left the table, two other 4-seated tables were vacant. Nobody told us that we can take the table, and I was apologized when I said to the staff how rude was that (first I asked if the price is different for stay in and for takeaway)! And I resent the way how we were asked to vacant the table, we were told that as we ordered coffe for takeaway we cannot take the place by the table. This should be communicated in a different manner. If the table would be prepared for other guests as owners responded I would be the one to apologize for taking it, and I believe the staff would inform about that there was a reservation. All we were told it was that as we ordered coffee for takeaway we are not allowed to...
