We landed in this restaurant as a last option. We’ve been wandering around the city of Malaga on foot that day not realizing people in Spain take siestas or naps between the hours of 2-6 pm. We were so hungry at 4:30 pm and all the nice seafood restaurants along the shore were closed except this nondescript restaurant. Our group was so hungry we really couldn’t care less where we eat at that point. but our travel planner, my daughter always looks for a place with a 4 or 5 star rating. As we were seated she looked this place up and found out it only had a 1.5 rating with 3 bad reviews. Suffice it to say, she didn’t want us to stay but I prevailed. Our group, at least 6 of us ordered our choices from the menu but my daughter didn’t. Too scared to try I guess. When our food came out and she saw that we’re all enjoying the meal, she ordered the grilled cod fish as well. We were all happily fed.

I would rate the quality of the food as 4 but the quality of attention and service we received from the 2 gentlemen who we thought were the owners was superb. They both were warm and very friendly.

The moral lesson of my story is for people to to be bold to try places that are not getting 4 or 5 star rating. You might just end up surprising yourself if you do it, not to mention- you might be helping out a struggling business that may not be aware of the power and impact of...

Extremely disappointing experience. First of all, we were charged for bread we never ordered – it was just placed on the table before we even arrived and then added to the bill without asking. To make it worse, the bread was completely dry, tasting like it had been sitting there for three days. The octopus was horribly tough and chewy, the seafood was overly salty and unpleasant, and the prawns were served cold as if they had been waiting on a counter for too long. On top of that, we noticed a very different treatment: locals were warmly welcomed, while tourists were talked about behind their backs. Honestly, I cannot understand how this restaurant has so many positive reviews. For the price they charge, this quality and attitude are unacceptable. Definitely not coming back and would not recommend...

I feel this is a hidden gem known only to locals. The food brought tears of joy to my wife.

The place was busting with activity. Packed with a distinguished assortment of locals, all enjoying seafood and drinks, with friends.

The Calamari was the best we have ever had. Melt in your mouth, in a light batter with a slight salty taste brought tears of joy to my wife. It was the realization that we had found a culinary treasure.

We ordered what was described as cold vegetables, which turned out to be vegetables mixed with shrimp, clams, octopus and more. It was delicious.

Lastly we had the fried Cod, which again was cooked to perfection.

Add some tasty white wine, and this experience will be forever etched in our mind.

Hands down a hidden gem that must not be missed…if you can...

Nothing too special, dishes were deep fried and the coating was deeming the tastes of e. g. the fried eggplant slices, you couldn't taste the eggplant, it wasn't terrible but not good either. The paella was alright i think it's good. The waiting time for non-entry dishes was quite long, but I think that's because we ordered the paella and rice took some time to cook. Also I didn't like the fact that we were charged for the bread that was laying on the plates before we came, one would assume that it was free, but it's not the case here, although the 0.50€ is not bad.

Our favourite place for seafood while in Malaga. Brilliant dishes all in various sizes from Tapa to full Racion, ideal for sharing with family and friends. Located just off the back of the beach it’s in a nicely sheltered area which we also like because my grandson is able to play football with the Spanish children in the courtyard, this is such a great family friendly restaurant. Paella is probably the best Paella I’ve ever had, perfection with a tasty crust around the inner edge of the pan ❤️
