El Horizonte de Antonio — Restaurant in Málaga

Avoid this racist restaurant at all costs! Absolutely not recommended!

Our visit to the restaurant "El Horizonte de Antonio" was an absolute disaster! We ordered our drinks in Spanish, including an Aperol Spritz, but the staff didn’t seem to understand us. After 10 minutes, a different waiter came and asked for our order again. Several minutes later, we were asked again – apparently, they didn't understand us in Spanish. We then reordered in English. They said we couldn’t just order drinks, so we opted for a simple salad. This later arrived with old tuna on top, even though we had ordered a regular salad.

When we wanted to pay, we were given the bill from the next table. Again, it took time for our issue to be understood. When we arrived, we were told we couldn't sit outside because everything was reserved, which was later retracted. It took over 25 minutes for us to finally pay.

The salad was awful, made from the cheapest ingredients, and the tuna was of questionable quality. The staff seemed extremely unprofessional and racist. Although I rarely write negative reviews, I have to agree with the other bad ones here. Avoid this restaurant at...

Fantastic spot for andalucian food. The service was great as well - the staff was really friendly and attentive. I had the sopa picadillo and it was very hearty with a ton of flavor.
