Madre de Dios II — Restaurant in Málaga

Place is very busy an popular, outdoor seating available. I needed to use Google Translate to photograph the menu for English translation. Ordered number 4 Sultan Meal to share which was quite a alot of food for two. We also ordered Pide Turco con queso y espinaca y huevo optiional.

The Sultan Meal arrived was a huge amount of food. The Pide Turco still hadn't come by the time we finished the Sultan Meal. We inquired about it and expressed we didn't want it, to cancel it. But responded that it was coming, it was in the oven. Another five minutes elaspe, when it finally arrived, we firmly stated we don't want it, the manager agree to take it off our tab.

We think that they had forgotten about our Pide Turco, not the waiter's fault, didn't admit to forgetting about it, and pushed our order through after realizing they had forgotten about it and tried to charge us for it. It was an unfortunate set of circumstances, of language, communications, admitting that they overlooked it upfront would have been better...

First meal in Málaga and WOW—what a start! We were absolutely starving and picked this spot at random based on good Google reviews and a decent-looking menu… and it totally exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the sweetest older man (the owner!) with a big smile. The service was warm, genuine, and made the whole experience so enjoyable.

The food? Incredible. The prices? Even better — we had a full meal with drinks and only paid €26!

I highly reccomend you visit this place! After I was treated badly at A La Turca, I walked up to Here and they really looked after me - Ferid, Mohammed & Mehmed & the other chap whose name I forgot - they were all so lovely! Excellent Customer Service! Amazing Portions, The Atmosphere was just so Perfect! I left with a Smile! Proper Turkish/Middle Eastern Experience!
