Oriental Gong — Restaurant in Málaga

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this restaurant! We first of all discovered that this place was only open on Tuesday… Earlier in the day, when trying to enquire about the menu, we were ‘shooed’ away by a shouty man who ordered us to come back at 8. Not to be deterred, we duly arrived back at 8 to be seated at a table next to a manky green fish tank housing some very miserable looking fish - the whole thing was covered in algae and was quite off-putting to start with! We ordered duck with pancakes, three main courses, and two rices. Well, after about 20 minutes one of the mains arrived. Without rice. The table next to us received a rice but no main. After about ten minutes we decided to share the curry between us because it was going cold. Just as we finished it, the rice arrived. Enquiring about the whereabouts of our ‘starter’, (duck) the waitress seemed surprised we wanted the duck before our mains, but ran off to get the duck, plus all the other dishes we had ordered. Thus, the mains went cold whilst we ate the duck! Crazy service! The food was mediocre: the duck was chewy rather than crispy, most of the dishes were luke-warm at best, the ‘sizzling’ beef was very gristly and the rice tasteless, with dubious prawns. For a marina-side restaurant this was very disappointing...

I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. The samosas and loempias were a major disappointment, as they tasted like they had been frozen for too long. The noodles were not much better, as they were mostly vegetables and lacked flavor.

While the staff was friendly and helpful, it was not enough to make up for the subpar food. In fact, I would give this restaurant a rating of one star.

Worst "chinese" meal I had so far! It's not even a chinese restaurant as they claim. To note I'm a big fan of asian cuisine and I know it well.

I ordered shrimp noodles and they gave me some regular pasta with no sauce and raw green beans.. I paid 6 euros for a slow service (over 40 min waiting time). The taste was horrible. I heard people complain about similar things.
