Sushirío — Restaurant in Málaga

I wanted to come to Sushirio ever since I saw it open and we finally went there for my birthday. I had high expectations based on reviews, but was kinda disappointed. The things I liked were the variety of dishes to choose from and quick service. I really hoped to sit inside as it looks so sheek, but since we didn't have a reservation the only option was outside. So I definitely recommend booking a table in advance! What I wasn't so keen on is the food itself. They have some dishes like bao, which are lovely, but every dish we tried with salmon just didn't taste right (we had quite a few of them too). I think it's because the fish wasn't cold enough. And other dishes were just about fine. If you are someone who is into Asian or Japanese food, I'd recommend going somewhere else. I really hope that they serve fresh sashimi, because I paid extra to order the mixed variety. Overall I think that our All-you-can-eat sushi in the Netherlands are much much better. I was expecting it to be better here, but that is unfortunately not the case.

Empty restaurant, yet we were seated next to other customers without reservations, which felt a bit cramped.

The food... a lot can be improved. The miso soup definitely needs more miso and perhaps more seaweed, since the flavor was bland. Can't really go wrong with the sushi, just hoping that the raw elements are fresh. The salmon cream cheese is a big miss, just too much cheese. The steamed items were cold and rushed, so we did not really enjoy them.

The service, well some items came quite late (past the 10 minute gap between orders). We did like the robot tho.

We have visited this place twice. The food is quite good, and there is a wide variety of options, with some dishes being better than others. I also like the tablet ordering solution. What has become clear now is that they still need to learn how to handle the large crowds that the restaurant attracts. Some dishes took a very long time to arrive, and some never came at all. I had to ask for my glass to be replaced because there were vegetable pieces stuck to the side, and there was a shard of glass on my spring rolls.
