I rarely write reviews and I rarely go to the same place twice when I‘m travelling BUT I had to come back to Santa Coffee to have another three oat cappuccini in a row and I have to give the team some credit! My friend and I went to Santa Coffee Soho to get breakfast and were SPOILT! We had the scrambled eggs on brioche toast (with avocado, rocket, tomato and pumpkin seeds) which were extremely delicious, filling and arranged appealingly. They also arrived within a short time. As already mentioned, I had an oat cappuccino which was SO good. it had a nice, medium strength, a smooth, not too thick foam, a little amount of cocoa powder and a drinkable temperature without cooling to quickly. I love the usual café con leche I get in Spanish cafés, but it really hit the spot to have a well-roasted coffee with the right amount of milk (the oat milk was very good too and didn‘t curdle in the coffee). And on top, the latte art was very cute. In addition, the staff was very friendly and chill and we felt very welcome. There is an English menu available for anyone not speaking Spanish and the staff we talked to all spoke English. We sat outside and the atmosphere there was very relaxed and pleasant. The café is located next to a small plaza with some other cafés and a playing ground. I came back the next day and brought a book to have the time to drink more coffee and was again very satisfied. Thank you for your...
Read moreReally Really World Class Coffee. I have been lucky enough to travel to many places and always look for the best expresso coffees. I have my favorite in Dublin, Zurich, San Juan (PR)... And now in Spain.
I am no expert but have learned that you can easily drink an excellent coffee without sugar. After I venture to that task and survive it, I request a shot to really taste the coffee. Certainly it did not disappoint. Whole different coffee tasting experience. One really gets to feel the craftsmanship of the whole process. From growing to extraction. It is like tasting a good wine.
These guys have 3 grinders with different coffee seeds. I suppose there is a 4th for decaffeinated. This store opened recently and may have little amount of reviews and the business show unclaimed in Gmaps but these guys are the real deal. They have another store in Soho for years. I was lucky enough to find them organically or the old way... Just walking in.
World class coffee. The best I have...
Read moreBeen there many times and in general the coffee is ok, not great but ok. Today.horrible. The FW was more or less cold and it was not a FW. Was just some coffee with milk, like from those cheap machines you can get for home use. I never had food here before so i tried some bread with cheese. The bread was according to how dry and hard it was min. 4 days old.
Hi, unfortunately i can't reply to your answer. You are right about the coffee. I ordered a coffee with milk. That was my mistake. Nevertheless it doesn't change the fact that the coffee was bad. As for the food yes i know what she offered me. And the bread was old. That is just how it is. As for me speaking spanish. Yes i am a foreigner and sure i am not fluent but i am also not a beginner but seeing your reply, clearly shows your ignorance of people trying and it just proves me that this was for sure the last time i have been to that place. Customer service is something that not...
