Bandidu has good vibe and a great potential. Their pizzas are probably the best looking ones I found around the island,however, they are quite far away from an Italian style pizza. I really like this place and I hope they won’t take my critic in a negative way but rather as an opportunity for improvement. Starting with the drinks, I would advice adding a nice selection of beers and showing them to the menu. This is something tourists will appreciate, especially if they don’t speak Spanish. Adding some local branded beers as well will be extremely nice as well. The puzza dough was well made and prepared. Not a perfect dough with high hydration but good enough for the category of restaurant. The problem with the pizza was the cooking and the toppings. Pizza are generally cooked at high temperatures (400 degrees or even more if you are in Naples) and for a short amount of time. The result is a crispy brown dough almost at the edge of burning. Bandidu cook their pizza in a not enough hot oven, resulting in cooking the pizza for a longer time so you get overcooked toppings and not well cooked dough. The tomatoes sauce was tasteless. It is super easy to improve that. Just put inside some chopped garlic cloves, basil, olive oil and a pinch of salt. You can prepare it this way the night before and it will give a great kick! As per the cheese, I would strongly advise to use real mozzarella cheese. The one I tried ruined the entire dish. Also because of the excessive cheese and the long cooking time, the result was a tick cheesy layer covering the entire pizza area. With just some small improvements you can really make the best...

My wife asked for mushrooms on her pizza, was told they could only remove items from the pizza, not add to, so we changed our selection and asked for well done pizza. This could be an indication that the food is pre prepared, not made up on premises. Two semi raw pizzas arrived at table, my wife’s was the wrong pizza. Returned a few minutes later with yet another wrong pizza. Her actual order never arrived!! My pizza was so under cooked I left half of it. Asked for the bill as my wife was fed up waiting, bill for two pizza arrived. Pointed this out to staff, manager appeared with correct bill, dropped it at table and left, no apologies. Read moreUna auténtica pena… Íbamos con muchas ganas de probar este sitio y nos llevamos una decepción tremenda. La cosa es que el local está increíble, la comida que probamos estaba buena, pero el servicio… muy muy bajo. Para empezar tardaron muchísimo en tomarnos nota de la comida, aun teniéndolo claro junto con la bebida. La justificación de la camarera fue que tenía que comandar la comida una vez la bebida estuviera en la mesa. Hasta ahí sin problema, si trabajan así, perfecto. Pedimos de entrante “provoleta”, y le pedimos por favor si puede ser sin rúcula, ya que no soportamos olor, sabor, ni nada :(
De principales pizza trufada y burguer smash. Llegó la provoleta, sin rúcula, perfecto. Entre el entrante y los principales pasó tanto tanto rato que se nos quitó el hambre, nos sentamos a las 22:00 y los segundos llegaron a las 23:40, literal. Después de esperar una eternidad llega la burguer smash y la pizza trufada… con rúcula!!! Y sin especificarlo en la carta!! Se lo comentamos a la camarera y sin problema, se la lleva, pero nos la trae (la misma) a los 30 segundos, pero “sin” rúcula, y pongo comillas porque todavía quedaban restos. Hasta ahí, te molestas, pero bueno, tampoco es que nos preocupara demasiado. La cuestión es cuándo le comentamos a otra camarera diferente a la que nos había atendido que nos han traído la misma pizza y siguen quedando trozos de rúcula. La respuesta, las formas, el poco respeto y todo por su parte fueron tan tan malas, con tan poca educación que me pareció sorprendente. 0 disculpas por su parte, un comentario fuera de lugar cuando se llevaba la pizza y unas formas chulescas que nos dieron ganas de levantarnos e irnos, y no lo hicimos por respeto.
