Needed a quick brunch close to Atocha station, and decided on this restaurant based on Google reviews. Was exactly what I expected. Friendly service, good value, down to earth feel. Many locals coming and going while I was there. The bocadillo de lomo was delicious. Four chunky pieces of meat, cooked to order and fresh warm baguette. I've just moved to spain and I came here just walking by. I know very basic spanish and the waitress was very accommodating to this, speaking slower, letting me practice and being so patient despite how little I know. She was attentive and very kind. The food portions are big which she let me know so I didn't order more than I could handle and waste it and was very tasty. Thank you for a nice welcome...

Best restaurant I've had in spain. As an american, I have a pallet that sometimes needs to be beaten into submission with flavor, but most restaurants here don't even add salt to their food. However I was pleasantly surprised that this restaurant is more than just a nice restaurant, but also the best tasting food I've had in Spain yet.
