We went to La Tasca in Oct 2021. The place is very nice. We were 2 and each one of us had the weekend menu of €16 First dishes: - Pumpkin soup. Very nice. - fried eggs with fried potatoes and more. Good too. Second dishes: - grilled Presa Ibérica with potatoes. The meat was ok, but the potatoes didn’t taste at all. - merluza with a special sauce and vegetables. It had a boiled egg that didn’t have to do anything with the dish itself. Not remarkable either. Desserts: Red berries yogurt with lacasitos. Normal. Cheescake. Very good. The best of the entire meal The best thing to remark also was the service. Everyone super kind to us. And also took a lot of care on details as my wife is pregnant and there are things she can’t eat

Excelent place for any kind of meal, this is a restaurant for the locals and their day to day lunch, or tapas, or dinner 'a la carte', having a daily menu of Spanish style but with a twist and good ingredients, making their food a discovery you can delight yourself with. I found this place on a work trip and, not only was the food 'that good', the service was swift, thoughtful and efficient, I found myself not worrying if it takes too long for the next course to arrive, but also felt I had the right time to take my lunch break quietly.. Found it on a Monday, went back on Tuesday, and if I have the change, will go back to it the rest of the week and on my next business trips to Madrid, do enjoy it yourselves!

AMAZING find! This is a little gem a stone thrown away from the temple of Debod and plaza de españa but without tourists. The fixed menu at 19 euro at lunch time is stellar: the burrata salad was delicious and the vichissoise an absolute blast from the past. The main courses were delicious! The merluza was literally one of the best I ever had! I had chocolate cake for dessert, which was good but I was honestly too full to fully enjoy it! Go go go!!!!

I really wanted to like this place. When we first arrived the server took our order - two glasses of Rosé, a cheese platter and Iberico Ham with Asparagus. The drinks and cheese platter were delivered timely, but after that things fell apart. When the asparagus was delivered we asked for two glasses of red wine (to go with our food). The server took our order but never brought the wine. In fact, we never saw the server again until we went to pay our bill. The server instructed the cashier to prepare the bill and when we got it the restaurant had added a charge for bread. We neither ordered bread nor was it delivered to our table. I requested the bill be correct, we paid the bill and left. I am giving the restaurant 3 Stars - it would have been lower but for the generous portion of cheese and the...
