I showed up solo. A group of 2 and a group of 7 came after me. They ordered AFTER me. I ordered 3 tacos with no sour cream she said perfect no problem. And then I waited 50 minutes! The table of two already had both of their plates and the large group started getting their food! I ended up asking one of the girls about my food and she said "yess they will be right up" They finally brought my tacos with the sour cream that I specifically asked not to be added. I reminded her that I didn't want sour cream so she took the plate to the kitchen and then came back with the same plate and said "it's just sour cream" and motioned for me to take the plate. I said "yes and I asked for none" so finally after an hour of waiting, I got my 3 little tacos. There was one cook which made the service extremely slow but that's not the issue. The issue was they served both of the other tables when my order should have been first. They were prioritizing the larger groups when they should have got mine out of the way since i ordered first. This restaurant was great! We were at a bar down the street and wanted some food and we were lucky enough to find this. It’s a very good price! I got 3 tacos for 4.50, 1 chicken taco and 2 nopalitos. The nopalitos were spicy which was great. Christian and Kelly were awesome! Giving us recommendations and talking to us while our food was being made. 🌮🌮🌮 Necesitamos más sitios así en Madrid donde aparte de una excelente calidad de comida, la calidad humana y trato es de 10. Busque un sitio de tacos cerca de Plaza España y descubrí este local de El Rey de los Tacos con las reseñas tan positivas, totalmente merecidas. Se trata de un local acogedor al lado, cerca de los cines. No trabajan con reservas los fines de semana pero no tuvimos que esperar hay mesas altas y bajas. La atención por parte de la cocinera Cynthia y el chico fue excelente desde el principio, muy cercano y familiar. Buenas recomendaciones! Queríamos probar toda la parte pero nos optamos por las Flautas - wow! Un plato enorme / contundente con 4 flautas de diferentes sabores además de nachos con 2 diferentes toppings 😍 🌮🔝 De la sección de tacos perdimos de Mole - con más de 30 especias creo que de los mejores en Madrid, mucha cantidad y sabroso, nada grasiento. También excelente tanto el de Cochinita como el de la Casa. Vienen con lima y hay 2 salsas diferentes, una pica bastante pero agradable! Relación calidad-precio imbatible. Para beber, hay cervezas, micheladas, diferentes aguas, mucha variedad. Repetiré seguro! Mil gracias Cynthia & co

The menu description of the tacos wasn't super clear, but they tasted good when they arrived. I was very happy to find out one of them was a chocolate chicken taco, it was very tasty too. A highlight for me was the tuna nachos, I didn't think it was possible! It was interesting how different the quesadillas were here in Spain as opposed to the Mexican restaurants in other countries.

The menu description of the tacos wasn't super clear, but they tasted good when they arrived. I was very happy to find out one of them was a chocolate chicken taco, it was very tasty too. A highlight for me was the tuna nachos, I didn't think it was possible! It was interesting how different the quesadillas were here in Spain as opposed to the Mexican restaurants in other countries.
