I really liked this place. Atmosphere was great, super buzzy and a warm interiors, felt very authentic and not at all like a tourist trap. The service was also good. The food was also great, although I would’ve ordered slightly differently next time. We ordered the crispy pork belly, which was exactly as it says it is but in my opinion really could’ve done with a sauce or something. The patatas bravas were good, I loved the presentation but the potatoes could’ve done with being cooked a little longer. The stand out dish for me was the burrata with the prawn tails - I thought this dish was so clever. It was covered in a smoky, burnt garlic oil which balanced out the sweetness of the prawn and buratta - absolutely perfect for dipping some bread into. I thought the tomato salad with gildas diced up was very clever as well. I regret not ordering the aubergine crisps as they looked great! Would definitely return, very good...

What a find for our last evening in Madrid. The restaurant is compact, making use of every space. Beautifully decorated, with nice touches of candles and fresh flowers on every table. The lovely waitress helped us narrow down our tapas choices to avoid us over ordering. She recommended the prawns with barrata, and I can see why - it was delicious. All the food was. The waitresses were extremely busy but always smiled, and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was full and had a great atmosphere. We got the impression the restaurant is the locals' favourite. Although we were only visiting we were made very welcome. I'd highly recommend making a reservation - you won't be disappointed. We wished we had found this restaurant earlier...

We were recommended to eat here by my friend's husband who is from Madrid and is a Chef in NYC under Jose Andres. This place exceeded expectations. We made a reservation for 10 pm and it was super busy, full of locals and tourists alike. We sat by the window and were greeted by the server in minutes. We ordered tinto verano's and some appetizers which consisted of: Gazpacho, tomato salad ,a tabla of iberico ham with pan con tomate and burrata with garlic shrimp. Hands down a fantastic dinner. Everything was spot on delish. We left around 11:30 and the place was packed with a line outside. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting or living in Madrid. We will...

If it’s not the best restaurant in Madrid then I don’t know what is! I have been there 3 times during my stay (it never happens, I go max 2 times to fact check if it was actually that good). It was a pleasure each time, the food is delicious and the price to value is amazing. I got a steak and it tasted like a proper dry aged steak and was melting in my mouth. It offers the smoky flavour and the sides that comes with are very well balanced. The other day I also got tortilla the patatas and it was the best tortilla of my life. The texture is indescribable. Really outstanding restaurant! Congratulations ☺️

If you’re looking for a genuine, local tapa experience, Bodegas el Maño will offer just that! Where do I even begin—fantastic service!! Despite the staff not being able to speak much English, they were extremely friendly and attentive. The portions here are quite large, so come hungry. Highly recommend the patatas bravas, and torreznos. The olives, Gilda and Huevos Rotos Con Jamón were also quite popular. They have classic Spanish tapa options as well! For the most part, everyone ordered a beer or wine I don’t recommend coming in large groups as the space is quite small and the wait can be long.
