El Amor Hermoso Bar — Restaurant in Madrid

Owners are amazing, very cool people. I love the drinks there, always a little bit of something special for you to enjoy. The crowd there is also made up of very nice people. I have tried burgers and loved them and the ensaladilla rusa is simply delicious! I honestly love the place and people. Definitely one of my favorite places to have a drink in Madrid. I am not even from that area and I just go there to enjoy it. Also, bathrooms are very clean and smell great, which says a lot about the cleanliness of the whole place in my opinion....

Went for a few drinks and dinner with a friend.

Place was pretty empty when we got there (20:30) but filled up fairly quickly.

We had "Huevos rotos mixtos" with blue cheese and Jamon - though as you can see in the photo, it looked and tasted more like prosciutto. The small dish with the Russian salad and bueuqeron on top was good and the croquetas were really tasty, especially the chorizo one.

Service was nice and fast.

Value for money - 8/10.

Might be back again to try some other items...

Le pongo una estrella por no ponerle 0. El peor trato que he recibido como cliente desde hace ni me acuerdo. Hemos llegado a las 20:50, con el 80% de las mesas vacías. Queríamos tomar unas cañas rápidas antes de un concierto y nos han dicho que no podíamos sentarnos en las mesas altas (ni desde luego, en las bajas), solo en un poyete empotrado junto a los baños en el que no se cabía. Les hemos pedido sentarnos en una mesa hasta que llegase gente y entonces movernos al poyete, pero no ha habido manera. Lo hemos aceptado, y después nos hemos sumado a unos amigos que sí estaban cenando y hemos seguido tomando tercios con ellos. A la que la mayoría del grupo ha pagado y se ha ido, nos han obligado al resto (gente que había cenado incluida) a confinarse en el poyete porque las mesas son “solo para cenar” y ya habíamos terminado. Pero ya habíamos cenado y el sitio seguía medio...
