Update: a business publicly beefing with a paying customer because of THEIR incorrect menu, THEIR uninformed waiter, and a mistake THEY made on the bill is unimaginable. What a missed opportunity. 😞
For the 36€ we paid and the treatment we got, it’s not worth it. Naturally, we ate what we paid for. It was 4 tacos smaller than the palm of your hand and a bowl of soup… 🙄 this review isn’t about the food. It’s about the service and the lack of accountability. Would not recommend.
There are other places to patron. Customer service matters to people, especially when you’re eating in a dark, noisy basement and the prices are 300% higher than the other Mexican restaurant upstairs with street views, fresh air, music and lines around the corner. —
First, there’s one vegan option for full plates listed on the menu. When I go to order it, they tell me they don’t have it. The waiter offers something else. When trying to confirm he said it was the “most vegetarian” they have. He rolled his eyes when I asked if it contained lactose as he had to consult with the kitchen a second time.
The waiter is not well informed and it shows in his interactions.
Second, we ordered a Michelada which is comprised of beer, spice, and Clamato typically.
The waiter brings a drink that looks the part and a Sol beer. On the bill, they’ve charged us for a Michelada Clamato. Not only does that not make sense, we ordered Michelada, sin más.
They tried to convince us that the difference in price was because of the beer. And then, he told us that they’d adjust the price but we shouldn’t have drank it!!! What? Not, sorry, our waiter made a mistake.
It’s our fault for not being in the kitchen to see what was in the drink? And not theirs for bringing us the wrong thing?
A water, a ramen, a Michelada and...
Read moreHorrible horrible experience. Let’s start with the food. The nachos we had ordered, did not have beans in them, as it was written on the menu, but we let that slide; the tomatoes, onions and parsley tasted like detergent and had a disgusting aftertaste. The “tacos” were so dry, had no sauce whatsoever on them and meat tasted disgusting. It was literally just meat on bread.
Let’s talk about the people that work there. 1- Server “forgot” about us multiple times. Didn’t get us plates or utensils, we had to physically get up and get them on our own. 2- Whenever we would ask her anything about the food on the menu, she would say she does not know and she was no help AT ALL. 3- When we complained RESPECTFULLY about the tacos, the server took it so personal and ask why we were “screaming” at her. 4- We asked for the chef, and he was very disrespectful. He also told me it’s not his fault that I couldn’t read.
They literally can’t take respectful feedback from their clients, they got so petty.
Overall the experience was horrible. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. From staff members to food it was all very bad.
I will give them one thing tho, they did not let us pay...
