Great service and a really comfortable place.

However, the bagel wasn't really a bagel. I got a classic "everything" bagel with plain cream cheese but it was underwhelming.

The flavour was oily and even though it looked like a bagel the texture and taste was not right. A classic bagel is usually boiled in water and then baked to give it its defining taste and chew, but this bagel was spongy and dry?

Also the cream cheese was a bit too liquid, rather than firm and thick and had a strong, almost goat or blue cheese, taste to it which I didn't enjoy. Maybe it was spoiled? I couldn't finish the bagel due to this so I'm very disappointed.

Overall, I had high hopes of trying a bagel spot close to work but this one was just not it. But I will say again, the service was impeccable - the lady who took care of me was very nice! Thank you!

In response to the business. Yes I am very sorry but I have to be honest the bagel was not good. I am from the US and I've had many many bagels, and make them myself from time to time. A bagel and a schmear is a typical breakfast for me, and unfortunately this was very disappointing. I could not finish the bagel, I had to give it away because I did not like it at all and didn't want to throw it away.

Anyway, I would love to go back sometime but maybe I will try a salad...
