Alright folks, buckle up for a culinary journey to the land of the gods - or rather, the land of the Greeks. I recently visited this little slice of Greece in the heart of the city, and boy, was I blown away!
First things first, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. If you're a fan of hearty, comforting dishes, then you're in for a treat. The mousaka was like a warm hug on a plate, with layers of tender eggplant, flavorful ground beef, and a creamy béchamel sauce that I could have eaten by the spoonful. And let's not forget the spanakopita - the flaky pastry was filled with a savory spinach and feta cheese filling that was out of this world.
Now, I know what you're thinking - "what about the veggies?" Fear not, my friends, the Greeks know how to make even the most die-hard carnivore appreciate their greens. The Greek salad was a fresh and colorful medley of crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, tangy feta cheese, and a drizzle of olive oil that would make any Italian jealous.
And let's talk about the atmosphere - it's like being transported to a quaint little village in Greece. The decor is authentic, the music is lively, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming that you'll feel like part of the family.
But what really sets this place apart is the owner. He's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and he truly cares about making sure his customers have a great experience. He even came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal and gave us some great recommendations for other dishes to try.
All in all, if you're looking for a place to dine that's both delicious and fun, then this Greek restaurant is the way...
Read moreI’d say 4.5/5 stars, but Google doesn’t let me rate 4.5, hence the 4. This place has been on my list for quite some time, and I finally got the chance to go, and I have to say that my expectation was higher than the actual experience (that’s why it’s nvr good to have high expectations).
The service was wonderful. It wasn’t dinner time yet so it was a bit empty, and the servers were super attentive. They had some time to chat and gave us some recommendations.
Food was a little disappointing. The spanakopita was a little too oily, so the bottom of the dough was a bit soggy, but the flavor was still amazing! I got the moussaka, which I think can be a bit more salty, and the middle layer was a little mushy and watery. My friend got the dolmades, and that one was delicious! The only thing I’d point out is that the wrapped rice is a bit dry—but great with the sauce!
The ambience was wonderful. Slow and mellow music and perfectly lit room.
Overall it was a great experience and I’d go back and try more things because maybe I didn’t get the right...
Read moreWe really enjoyed this Greek restaurant! There’s a spacious indoor dining area and a large outdoor terrace — perfect in summer. Just keep in mind that dishes on the terrace cost about 10% more. It’s mentioned in the menu, but in very small print.
The food was delicious — we ordered eggplant, and dolma, and everything was full of flavor. Service was fine, but on Friday evening it was very busy, so we had to wait a bit. It’s better to reserve a table in advance, but for two people you might still get a spot without a booking. Highly recommend — really...
