TOURIST TRAP! FOOD PORTION IS VERY BIG, not suitable for couples!

If you’re not a local and do not speak Spanish PLEASE DO NOT GO IN! Both me and my boyfriend decided to give this place a try for dinner, before we sat down the waiter was super nice. The waiter recommended us the octopus and the beef steak which was a bit pricey but we decided to gave it a try. I’ve even double check with the waiter if the order was suitable for two people, he was very sure it was. (After that we found out it was more than enough for two its suitable for a serving of 5!) After that my boyfriend notice one of the bosses laughing in our direction, both me and my boyfriend were getting a bit nervous cause we were scared that we might have order a bit too much. When the appetizers came we were shock as it was very big, we decided to canceled one of our order but we were a little bit too late. Everything was and the worse is that the food was very bad ! Small little spot in the lively neighbor we stayed in. You know it’s good local spot when it’s off the side street, no one speaks English and the place is packed. Got seated right away by a server who was busting his butt as the only server. We ordered and got our food fast! Very unusual as service our entire time in Spain has been super slow. Sangria was great and everything was just so cheap but good. We ordered the patatas bravas, sausage and meatballs. For tapas, this place had huge portions! Wish we came here hungrier as I would have loved to try the steak as a lot of tables...

Fui en navidad con mi amigo a comer a este restaurant y pasamos una experiencia muy desagradable con un mal trato innecesario. El mesonero fue muy amable al atendernos y comimos bien. Pedimos ambos uno bocadillo de la casa y como son contundentes no pudimos comerlo todo. Por lo que optamos para pedirlo para llevar. Para nuestra sorpresa la comida para llevar aparece envuelta en un papel aluminio toda apilada de muy mala manera y sin una bolsa o algo para meterla. Por lo que al ir a la barra le preguntamos al Señor que estaba atendiendo ahí sí podía darnos por favor una bolsa para llevar porque yo no llevaba ni un bolso para llevarla y además estábamos de paseo. El hecho que el Señor nos comenta que la bolsa cuesta 20 centimos, pero claro hoy en día es difícil llevar algo suelto para pagar o si al menos nos hubiesen avisado que para llevar tiene un recargo de 20 centimos nosotros lo hubiesemos entendido y lo pagamos. Pero el tema es que no teníamos efectivo y ya había pagado la cuenta. Ya la comida estaba dentro de la bolsa y pues no encontramos efectivo para pagar los 20 centimos y le pedimos amablemente al Señor si podíamos llevárnosla y ha tirado de la bolsa de una MUY MALA MANERA tirando la comida envuelta ahí en la barra. La verdad que no entiendo la mala manera de tratar a los clientes y la actitud agresiva de este Señor de la barra que parece que se cree con poder de maltratar a las personas. Bastante desagrable quería compartir con la experiencia porque no me pareció justo como cliente el trato. Hay formas y formas, si no te gusta tu trabajo pues RENUNCIA o pon a otra persona más amable.
