Empanadas Malvón — Restaurant in Madrid

Nothing to write home about...I must have had very bad luck because the empanadas I ate are nothing like the fluffy stuff people are praising. The pastry was more chewy than puffy, very tough to bite and the filling not well balanced. I ordered carne suave and they tasted nothing like the typical empanadas de carne, they were very dry and the taste was below average. Being a big fan of roquefort cheese, I had to try the roquefort and pear ones. Another dissapointment, mainly because of the tough dough. I decided to indulge myself spending more than 15€ in 6 empanadas and I regret the decision. I ate only two and didn´t feel like eating the rest (after a long day at work) By the way, I am from Argentina and grew up eating empanadas... On the positive side: nice employees and...

Well i am not a big fan of fancy empanadas outlets but my experience with this place was just ok. They have wide varieties of empanadas and some Argentina beers to go on with. I tried their mozzarella and tomato(carprese) empanada which was looking delicious on the first look but when i cut it in half I noticed that it was not fully cooked. The shell of the empanada was underbaked and that was really disappointing. Although the filling was perfect and delicious, the mozzarella and tomato filling with spices seemed to be fresh and overall empanadas seemed to be freshly baked but I couldn’t enjoyed it because of...

Lo mejor de todo fue cuando sentimos al atravesar la puerta: su olor 😍🤤 . Las empanadas están elaboradas a diario con ingredientes frescos y a mano 🙌🏼 .
