Stepping into this traditional tapas bar I was in awe of its charm and historic memorabilia. The place is covered from floor to ceiling in vintage keepsakes.

The food and drink we ordered was excellent value for money. We ordered 2 rounds of beers (Mahon) between us, and shared a 4/5 plates between a group of four.

If you're reading this, you must have the Tarvern Special Toast (Tosta Especial Taberna) with egg! It's only €7 and It blew all of our minds, we haven't stopped talking about it for days. Honestly, the taste is so heavenly it's like drinking from Zues' cup.

The service was good and quick. The staff are friendly and made an effort to understand despite the language barrier.

This is a great little spot. We arrived directly from the airport and were a bit early to check in to our Airbnb, so we decided to hang out and kill some time. The food and drinks are a great value and delicious. We spent about €50 even for four people which I closed several rounds of drinks and lots of food. We were all full and tipsy. The environment was awesome, located on a corner in a lovely neighborhood. People of all ages , from retired couples to families with infants came in. The waiting staff were great. You might need to know some Spanish and use Google translate to order what you want, but honestly I think if you just point at what you want from the menu you'll be fine. Highly recommend!! We came upon this neighborhood place the first night of a 10 day trip to Spain and it set the standard for the rest of the trip. We were exhausted and had no idea what to order. The owner immediately came over and made wonderful recommendations (in English - our Spanish is rusty). All of the food was amazing but you will not find better potato croquettas anywhere in Spain. The vibe was so friendly and there were many groups enjoying themselves. As we were leaving we told the owner that my daughter and her friend were going to be living in the area for 5 weeks as part of a study abroad.
