I recently had the pleasure of dining at Entre Santos in Madrid and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly atmosphere that only a truly authentic Spanish tapas bar can provide.

The food was undoubtedly the star of the show. Each dish was expertly crafted with a creative twist that elevated the flavors to a whole new level. I ordered the spicy potatoes, crunchy portobello with goat cheese, and the grilled squid with apple and mint mayo. Unfortunately, I only had the chance to try the potatoes and portobellos. Both were delicious. The potatoes came out quickly, but I had to remind a server that I had ordered the portobello and squid as well. She said that she would put it in for me and it would be ready in 5. I waited another 10-15 minutes for the portobellos while I watched several tables that were sat long after I was be served all of their orders. It was another 30 minutes before I just gave up asked for the check. When they asked about the squid I told them politely that I waited too long and I just wanted the check. The server/host said something along the lines of “the machine broke” which I found to be an excuse since the tables around me were getting the orders pretty quickly. They then brought the wrong check which was a bit frustrating at that point.
