We're staying at the Canopy Hilton, and dined this evening at the hotel restaurant. I often don't like hotel, restaurant, food but we were tired after a long travel day and just wanted a quick, quiet dinner. The restaurant is a large open space, but they soundproofed well, so even busy, it wasn't loud. Our server's Araceli and Sergio were both very attentive and helpful! I had the bream (fish) with zucchini and my husband the veal burger, both dishes were of excellent quality and very well priced! The food came quickly. We had a cod appetizer that was good also. Daniel, Rodo, Vanessa, and Team at Escandalo are excellent! As a guest of the Canopy hotel, I often come for tapas, dinner, and/or drinks and they always impress. The service is 10/10 and they take time to ask what you are interested in when it comes to food and drink. Very friendly and attentive service and also a fun experience with lively vibe and atmosphere. I’ve spent many days in the adjoined hotel and Escandalo quality of food rivals any restaurant I’ve been in Madrid in terms of Spanish options but also with a contemporary flair.
