I've spent a month in Madrid and I ate every working day at the bicai. Most of the time we did take away, "para llevar" as Pablo would say. In a month I've never eaten twice de same plate. The menu changes every day always with some very good stuff. If you come for lunch you'll probably talk to Pablo who knows perfectly his restaurant. Even tough there are many people from 1pm to 3pm, all the staff are very quick and still very kind and nice. You won't wait too much for a seat, neither for you food. To resume it's a beautiful place, people are extremely kind, food is good, not expensive and it comes fast. I would recommend it to asbolutely everyone! Moreover if you want to talk a bit with the crew when there's time they are happy to have some words, even not in spanish! Incredible place, as you can see I loved it. If your road cross the one of Pablo, Roberto, or the one of a particularly strong guy (didn't get his name), I assure you it will...

Super close to the Hilton Canopy. Few drinks and some tapas. Cannot go wrong here!

Definitely have the brie cheese fingers. Very lightly breaded with outstanding brie flavor. We tried the croquettes which were honestly some of the best I've had in Spain. Again, lightly breaded with excellent flavor from the Iberian ham. The homemade secret meatballs were good with a nice sticky sweet sauce but ranked third for me. I loved the brie fingers.

We also tried the cheesecake. Creamy burst of flavor that melted in your mouth. Very smooth and light. Very different from a traditional New York dense cheesecake.

Service was outstanding. Great vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Have a couple Mahou and...

Very hospitable restaurant with great service. Not everyone could speak English but they were happy to help and use Google translate which was great. Massive TV for watching the football and sports. There was a cheese pasta as a the actual meal. In a fancy restaurant the amuse-bouche which was good but would have been nicer if hot. The starter was good with croquets and I had 3 of mushroom and 3 of ham. The ham was really good however the mushroom lacked a bit of flavour. The steak was superbly well cooked. I would recommend the chocolate pudding with ice cream which was still slightly runny. My only observation bis that they did not have a disabled toilet so would not be suitable for my mum. Would I...
