I like this place!.. depending on the week day you have different crowd. We have been in different occasions and you can find trendy, Erasmus, Expats, locals, etc. The best is when there is live music, but it can also get VERY crowded and if you don’t reserve in advance, forget it.. you would have to be super lucky to get a table. The bar area is also very nice, and in case you don’t get a table, you work your elbow room and make some space whilst you could even dine there! The food is great! Piza’s are the success, Margherita and Veggie one we’re our favorite. The pad Thai was also good and the chocolate brownie. The service was ok, they get “camote” busy, pretty fast so they might loose track of you... Drinks such as cocktails are cool, also local beer (2,50) for a caña by example. The location is very good, you have Chueca or Noviciado as metro stations nearby, also a Bicimad 🚲 JUST next to it, and the Calle Pez is also very famous for other local bars and marcha to go around. I do recommend it for a datenight out!

I decided to take my family for dinner here last night and we had a fantastic evening. Our waitress Julia was exceptional. She seated us on a nice large table downstairs and was attentive, friendly and patient. We could not decide what to order and Julia did not rush us once. She came back a few times and talked us through some items on the menu and even let us sample some wine. I would highly recommend the 'Tabla Quesos' with a side of bread as a starter to share, if you are in a large group. We were a group of 5 and it was perfect. For mains I ordered a Truffle Pizza, which was delicious and my partner went with the beef burger, which was equally as scrumptious! All the food & drink was amazing and I could not fault a single thing! We will definitely be returning!

We booked a table for dinner, ordered our food and continued to order drinks so we weren't just blocking a table. We were there for maybe 1.5 hours (at the most) and we had 4-5 different waiters hovering over our table every 3 minutes, making us feel so unbelievably uncomfortable, that we kept pausing in our conversation when they would come around because they would stare at our cups, checking to see if we took another sip. It was quite disrespectful. We could feel them talking about us and pushing us to leave. I went to the bathroom and saw that in the other part of the restaurant, where many other people were sitting, there were about 5 large and small empty tables. It was so confusing! What made the matter worse, check out the drink that they gave me! This is proof that they wanted us to drink quickly to leave because my drink barely had any liquid, since it was 98% ice! Just shocking. Not a place I would recommend nor will I be returning.

The manager on the night saved the day, I visited Lamucca de Pez during my short visit to Madrid with a group of friends, we ordered and waited and waited, the food took a very long time to come, but despite all of this the manager who was fully aware approached us with a big apology and explained to us why, offered us some shots or dessert complimentary and even gave us a small discount in the bill, without all her efforts our visit would've been terrible and had been considered a bad experience, big praise to Beatriz she's an asset to the restaurant, and I will recommend this restaurant as the food was delicious and we'll presented.

Awesome patio dining. Chefy foodie good. Pleasant and helpful staff. Georges took my order and helped me pick something right for the night. Fresh bubbly bread came out with awesome jet-black olive tapenade, followed by a surprisingly special phad-thai. The menu has a nice range of different directions depending on your mood. Seems like a wonderful place for conversation among friends or a classic friendly date. Perfect restaurant for the back-streets of Madrid.

We were served bread for the table, and ordered the following; Long Island iced tea, kombucha, mimosa, mezze, super detox salad and pad Thai. The mezze was tasty though a little salty. The pad Thai was better than expected and very flavorful. The salad was ok. :) If I were home, I’d add oranges or something to add a bit more flavor. Overall, we had a lovely meal and were well taken cassette of by Goerges. Gracias!
