This place is clearly popular, and I see why. The tortillas are excellent, really well done and with quality ingredients. The starters are also fantastic. Beware - there are a TON of people trying to eat here, so you may have to wait a while. We first tried the first location - just a couple blocks down the street - and it was so packed I couldn’t even see the counters or tables. We then went to Cara B, the sister restaurant, which was very busy but at least we were sat within 20 minutes, not bad. Staff were nice, service was relatively speedy, and the atmosphere of the place was vibrant and fun. Definitely come here, but expect that you might have to wait a while until you can be seated. Highly recommended though.

A Love Letter to Spanish Tortilla This franchise never disappoints—they truly deliver on authentic Spanish tortilla! What a joy to find a place that serves such beautifully crafted omelets—I’m in love! 😍 No matter which one you choose, it’s bound to delight your palate. The rock ‘n’ roll vibe and exposed brick only add to the charm—definitely my kind of spot. That said, not everything worked as well for me. The meatballs and chips felt a bit uninspired—honestly, they could have come from IKEA. And while the fried green tomatoes were interesting, they didn’t quite excite my taste buds the way the tortilla or croquetas did. Stick to those, and you’re in for a fantastic experience! 😉

We visited Pez Tortilla Cara B on a Saturday afternoon around 1 PM, and it was already packed with people. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but after tasting the food, we completely understood why it was so busy. The tortillas were absolutely delicious—perfectly creamy and flavorful. We tried the classic tortilla as well as the special of the week, which featured anchovies, adding a unique and savory twist. To top it off, we paired our meal with a refreshing caña, making for a truly satisfying experience. The lively atmosphere and great food make this spot a must-visit!

Today we came to Cara B Pez Tortilla which is right below our house. 3 girls sat at a small table and ordered too much food. We wanted to move to the big table that was empty behind us and they didn't let us. They took 3 more people at the table behind us and then they made an explanation that they became 4 😂 We couldn't fit at the table and we spilled the cava. The whole table and food became drinks. They didn't help in any way. On top of that, when we asked the long-haired female employee there if she could help us and if she could take us to the table behind, she scolded us in an incredibly disturbing way. Then we told the other employee with the beard what happened and said that we would leave a bad review on Google and left the place. He shouted "go and fuck yourself" after us. As a tourist, we couldn't believe how rude this was. As someone who has also been to Barcelona and loves its people and also loves the Spanish very much, this is the first time we have left a place so unhappy. No matter how good a place it is, it is the worst place we have experienced in Madrid because of its employees. They may treat you well but with the slightest problem you may be exposed to the attitudes of these rude employees. I will never go there again and I will tell everyone about my experience when I return. An incredibly bad place!! Look up the waiter behavior on Google and do not go. Their bread is stale!!! It's a joke. There are many places that make tortillas,...

Would give it 5 stars if I could… but they need more servers!

I loved this restaurant, we went to Cara B to have dinner last night and we knew the food would be amazing because we have tried Pez Tortilla before, but we hadn’t been to their new spin-off restaurant.

Just to get inside the wait time was around 45 mins on a TUESDAY! There was only one waitress, and poor soul… she was all by herself!

Don’t get me wrong: She had a great service attitude, she was kind and very efficient! But I’m sure that if there was one or two more waiters, the service would be faster and the wait time would move quicker. They lost a LOT of business because of the wait time, people left! So, maybe just a suggestion - to add m another server! It wouldn’t hurt.

Food was amazing - I recommend the truffle tortilla with Brie and ham.

Will definitely return, maybe with a snack for...

We learned about this place thanks to the channel "La latina" and after a long day of walking, having had almost nothing to eat the entire day, we felt it was the right time to try it. It was a cold day, and we went inside. The warmth was the first thing we noticed. They had small tables with high stools, a charming modern setting. We ordered 2 classic tortillas, 2 patatas bravas (a dish my wife was eager to try), and Small Coquetas filled with mushrooms. The food started arriving fast and we could not have been happier. Everything was so hearty, comforting, and rich in flavor. The tortilla was excellent. We were actually trying to find the best one in Madrid, but after this one, I feel like no further search would be necessary. The patatas bravas were so good, and we can't wait to eat them again. All and all, a comfort meal...
