Went yesterday for a late lunch and loved that their kitchen is always open! We were told we’d had to wait 30 min to get a table but it was actually much faster than that. You can wait comfortably in the bar area where you can start ordering your drinks. Liked that they have 1 gluten free beer.

Once seated service was fast. We had a view of the wood ovens and everything looked and smelled amazing. I really wanted to try the chicken which I saw coming out for another table but my daughter wanted to share a rack of ribs so we got the ribs instead. They were good although I would have preferred the chicken. I guess I’ll have to come back to try it!

We ordered roasted tomatoes in garlic and parsley sauce and they were such a good side alternative since I didn’t want fries.

Lemon pie was good too and overall we had a good meal. Prices are very reasonable considering it’s the center of Madrid and a busy area.

Only thing that disappointed was that being a nice looking place everywhere else, restrooms were horrible. They only have 1 all gender bathroom. That means ONE bathroom only for everybody in such a busy restaurant. That is A LOT of people for just one bathroom. We went in and out without using the restroom because it was disgusting. I think they should take better care of...

We had lunch on Thursday, September 19th. We enjoyed our lunch. The brisket was particularly good. We had a friendly, professional waitress. Also, there was a guy who cleared our table and he was very friendly. The strange part is that as we were leaving my 2 companions were a little ahead of me. Another waitress who had not interacted with us previously stopped me and asked me if we had paid???? It seemed strange. Afterwards it occurred to me that her reaction seemed rather racist. I am black as was one of my companions. When I responded that we had paid another waitress, our waitress appeared. The one that asked the question did not verify with her, instead she said nothing as though she didn’t want our waitress to know that she had asked me such an offensive question. I hope the problem is isolated and only concerns this one person. Too bad that she is a bad representation of...

We went 4 people for dinner.

We ordered a whole roasted chicken, and the limbo mix which included half a chicken, brisket, pulled pork and pork chops. My favorite ones were the pork chops and the pulled pork, it was perfectly paired with pickles and onions in vinegar. Brisket was slightly dry. Eggplant was nice too.

The chicken was good as well (I didn't have much)

For desert we ordered the cookie and the "Tres leches" cake. Cookie was amazing but the cake was pretty bland.

Service was decent though they brought the appetizers and the mains at the same time. That could definitely be improved.

Apparently they share the restrooms with a hostel, and it was incredibly dirty. Would put more attention to that.

Overall place has nice settings and it's fun for having beers, hanging out, and grabbing a bite

Value for...
