The worst experience that happened to me. I was leaving a nightclub with my friends Fernanda and Débora when we were suddenly held under suspicion of stealing 20 smartphones. We were the only ones who were held, and no Spanish or European people were stopped. We asked for documentation to the bouncer to prove they're cops, but they just advised us to go with them outside to investigate. I started a livestream on my phone to document what was happening.

During the investigation, the police touched me and my phone, demanding that I stop recording. My friend was also recording, and they almost took her phone, demanding that she delete the video. It was a humiliating experience, and we had no support from the police who should have been protecting us. They checked our documentation, searched our bags, and checked our pockets. We were clearly not the suspects they were looking for, yet we were targeted because of our race and appearance.

Even though I remained calm and asked if I needed a lawyer, they still held my two girl friends. One of them was wearing a short dress, and the cop was touching her to check if she had phones on her. I stayed behind to demand answers, and eventually, we were all released. It was a traumatic experience, and we were only targeted because we didn't fit the description of the suspects.

I want to use video to speak out against racial profiling and discrimination. No one should be targeted and humiliated based on their race or appearance. It's important that we stand up for justice and equality, and hold those accountable who perpetrate...

Estuvimos el sábado 23 noviembre de 2024 para el concierto de "Cradle of filth". Comienzo por lo peor de la noche, cuando mi mujer y yo llegamos a la sala y quisimos subir a los balcones superiores. Tengo la espalda algo mal y estar apoyado en la barandilla me da la vida. La cuestión es que preguntamos para subir y nos dicen que no se puede, pero vemos que hay público ya ahí arriba. ¿Y esa gente? Es que esa zona es para la gente que ha ido al guardarropa. Vale, pues subimos a dejar algo en el guardarropa (2€) y nos quedamos en la zona, en ese momento habrían unas 15 personas a parte de nosotros, y más gente que vino después. Genial. Pues pasados 5 minutos nos escuchamos un grito a la espalda: ¡¡CREDENCIALES!! Nos giramos y vemos a un tipo bajito y calvo de seguridad. ¿Te refieres a las entradas? ¿Al ticket del guardarropa? ¡Credenciales! ¡Esto es una ZONA VIP, no podéis estar aquí! Le decimos que nadie nos había dicho nada de zona vip, ni nadie nos había impedido el paso, pero decidimos no entrar en discusiones, ya que al tipo se le vía un poco nervioso y no queríamos perdernos el concierto. Echó a todo el mundo de la zona (menos a una pareja, la cual no enseñó ninguna acreditación, serían colegas suyos imagino). Bajamos a la pista y sorpresa... unos 15 minutos después de que el tipo nos echara de malas formas nos vemos que la zona de balcones estaba ¡¡totalmente llena!! Cuando nos marchamos del concierto le preguntamos a otro de seguridad si la zona de balcones era de acceso libre o era zona vip. Respuesta: es de acceso libre claro, si fuese zona vip habrían vallas y habría alguien controlando el acceso. Otro detalle fue que mientras estábamos en la cola para entrar otro del personal de seguridad nos avisó a todos "fumar en la sala será motivo de expulsión". Bien, pues durante TODO el concierto no se dejó de oler a tabaco. Lástima que no sean tan implacables con el tema de fumar como lo son con las zonas vip imaginarias. Además hacía un calor insoportable. La sala está en un sótano y no había ningún tipo de climatización encendida. No sé cómo no les dio un golpe de calor a los grupos, sobre todo a "Cradle of filth" que por momentos veías que lo estaban pasando realmente mal. Tengo que decir que no todo el personal de seguridad fue así de maleducado, los chavales más jóvenes fueron los más amables. Came for a concert. I was a bit hesitant given the mixed reviews but it was 100% worth it. None of us had anything to drink so I can’t comment on pricing and we kept our coats given the bad experience of other reviewers. Regarding the sound, the sound was terrible for the opening act, and I feared it was a problem of the venue, however, the main artists had different equipment and the sound was absolutely flawless. The space is relatively small, so you are as close to the artists as it can be, the caustics are amazing and the energy is through the roof. As a concert venue I recommend it. Only drawback is that it was impossible to contact the venue prior to the concert. The never pick...
