Masamune Café—bookmark it, Uber to it, do whatever it takes to get there.
This place came highly recommended by a local barista, and it delivered. Let’s start with the coffee—because oh my goodness, this may very well be the best flat white I’ve had anywhere in the world. I’m not exaggerating. Perfectly textured, smooth as silk, with an espresso blend that hits every note: toffee, mandarina, and chocolate. The baristas are absolute pros—calm, focused, and crafting drinks like it’s an art form.
Now to the food—don’t let the fact that it’s a café fool you. Everything we ordered was dialed in. The Turkish eggs? Flavor bomb with velvety yogurt, silky eggs, and that pop of chili butter. The avocado and feta were perfectly balanced—clean, rich, and beautifully plated. We also got the yogurt bowl and the açaí bowl—both super fresh, generous, and thoughtfully built with great textures.

The baristas greeted me right away and let me take a menu to a table until I had decided what I wanted. I ordered an iced espresso and a vegan orange bizcocho for 8 euros. Definitely a little higher than usual, but they served the coffee and ice seperately in a nice cup on a little tray and a massive slice of bizcocho!! The great service, plently of seating, and good dose of salsa (especially the Frankie Ruiz and Lalo Rodriguez yesterday), make it worth a stop! They had two different espressos available -...
