If you don‘t speak fluent spanish and would like to order wine and food (starter, Main)…: welcome to Lamucca Lottery! It is big luck to get your choosed wine from The menu and also Your food in the right row if you‘re not a native speaker. We choosed our drinks&Foos from the english menue.
We ordered 2 Glasses rosato, mussels to Share and also Salmon tatar to share. We repeated 3 times that this is our starter (first dish) and also Seasonal grilled vegetables & Pizza as main (second dish we also said)!
After we repeated our order 3 times the service came back to Tell us that our choosed wine „López de Haro“(2 glasses) From the menue (VINOS ROSADOS Y ESPUMOSOS) is Just available in a bottle! Ok…we‘re trained enough to kill the bottle. Service brang the bottle and surprise: it was white wine! We wanted rosato! The service incl manager told us, that López de Haro is listed in the menue under vino blanco what is not correct- it is obvousily listed below rosato.! Slight confusion in the faces…but in the end we got another bottle and it was rosato!
After 25 min the service Came to serve the pizza and The grilled vegetables! But where were our starters? We told them that when our main dish ist already made we just wanted one starter max. Otherwise all of our food will be cold… So they cancelled the Mussels, brang salmon tatar (which was ok) pizza and vegetables. The pizza was ok. Not worth the price and the vegetable were horrible. Super boring food, prepard without any spicies. I could not even cut eggplant …how should i have chewn it??? I love califlower& Brokkoli but that was not worth!
How badly can vegetables be prepared? Really a shame to call it „Seasonal vegetable grill“ when broccoli and cauliflower have obviously never seen the grill.
I gave the half full dish back. The service tried to apologize for the inconvinience with a coffee but it was already too Late.
Worse experience and food that was not honored to be named food!
I recommend to go to another place and not...
Read moreLamucca on Calle de Fuencarral is an amazing place!🤩⭐️ We arrived in Madrid from Poland on Monday and visited this place every day until Friday (even though we stumbled upon it by accident), because we liked the respect for the customer. Of course, the food was delicious, and the drinks were wonderful! The decor and atmosphere were just as great. But the staff deserves special recognition, as they surprised us very positively and contributed to our eagerness to visit this place. We would like to highlight three people, but unfortunately we don't know their names, so we will describe what we liked about their service. The first one made delicious drinks, you can really see that he knows what he's doing. The second one was very nice, he tried to explain and dispel all our doubts about the allergens in the dish and always took care of every detail. The third one although there were some small problems with the English, he showed great professionalism because he tried to explain everything as accurately as possible and took care of our comfort during our stay, he was very nice andconstantly checked if we needed anything and if everything was in order. This is a big plus, because when we were in Madrid, in most restaurants, no one in the service was able to communicate with us in English, and because of that, we were often ignored. At Lamucca, we never felt ignored, the service made every effort to make us happy, without be ingintrusive. Every time someone said something nice and really, this kind of service is rare, considering our experiences from traveling in Europe :) And we know only Ton, he was so kind and professional!!!! We will definitely return to Madrid and to Lamucca! We recommend it to everyone from the bottom of...
Read moreNice atmosphere, nice decor and a reasonably interesting menu (albeit a terrible app UX). The detox salad was beautiful, delicious and well presented.
What happened after that...
Our main course took another 45 minutes to arrive in a mostly empty restaurant. Diners who arrived after us were half way through their meal when the maitre de noticed we still had not been fed. He told us he would check on our food and the manager would come talk to us.
After another 15 minutes or so, the manager arrived to apologize and started trying to explain what happened (excuses!). Something about the chef or what we ordered (mixed grill, 10 minutes at most to cook), etc.
Finally, our food arrived with another round of apologies. We ate quickly and asked for our check. The manager came in person with the bill... which was for the full amount. And then it took another 10 minutes of waiting for him to return with our to go portion from what we didn't eat.
It is absurd that everyone apologized profusely for the poor service but they offered NOTHING TO MAKE UP FOR IT.
Even a half way decent manager would have been plying us with offers of free dessert or taken something off our bill. This horrible excuse for a service professional just told us they are working on improving things and would do better next time. We don't have to worry about that, since we will never consider eating in this over priced...
