‘Authentic’ .... I wonder what this word means in the context of an Italian style pizza? As an Australian who has visited Italy and whose culture has been influenced by Italians, I find this pizza less than ordinary. An extremely thin base; undercooked and very wet with tooo much sauce and nut enough cheese. Meant to be a Margarita but more like a Maria or Conxita. Two olives and a leaf of basil - a mistake? Under generous portion? To make the experience uncomfortable the guy cooking the pizza was not wearing his mask 😷 over his nose. Covid is a respiratory virus 🦠 .... your nose is a part of the respiratory system: no wonder there is so much virus spreading in Spain !!!! First and last visit here.

Great atmosphere, food and staff. The food was so delicious. We order pizza and melanzane alla parmigiana both were so yummy. The staff is so friendly and they want to make sure that their customers are satisfied. The short young lady who served us she was very welcoming, friendly and energetic. She was working by herslef at the place and able to take care of all take-away and dinne-in orders with a smile on her face. My wife forgot her phone at the table and we left without noticing until the girl came outside running to us giving us the phone. Thanks so much. Nice place, people and food worth to try

Fantastic little gem on San Bernardo St. in the center of Madrid. The pizza is nothing short of amazing. We ordered the Quattro Fromaggi and the Parma. The dough, sauce and toppings are incredible on their own, and next level altogether. Love the wood oven and the charring on the crust! The staff are very friendly and seem genuinely happy and welcoming. Smiles all around! The atmosphere was buzzing and the music made it much more lively than I would have e expected of a pizza parlour. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience. Highly recommended!

I consider myself a bit of an accomplished pizza critic, this place is underwhelming, considering the setup they have, one should expect a better quality product than my wife and I experienced.

However - and, admittedly it's a pretty large however. I'm an English speaker, as is my wife - when we arrived we were greeted with warmth, and the waiter was more than willing to accommodate using Google translate to get through the conversation. We actually saw the chef made an extra Margherita pizza as we were speaking to the waiter, and he thought to comp that to us as well. A very very kind gesture.

All that said, if this was a local spot to me- I'd go, and go often, it's the kind of well priced fare with a friendly staff that I'd love to establish a connection with in my hometown, but is the food like, drive out of your way to get it good? No,...

The pizza is great and we have been many times to the various locations they have in Madrid, however in the Malasaña one I was taken back by the lack of empathy from the waitresses (i am also a waitress so like to think i understand the job at hand) - an elderly customer with a walking aide came and they sat them at a high table with high chairs, she was stood all of the meal- eventho there was a whole unused room with normal seats and tables- at one point the elderly lady starts looking for the toilet and i tell the waitress who just walked past her to explain where it was, she just looked at her; ignored her and walked away, the woman ended up getting lost at the other end of the restaurant looking confused- i got up to help her and show her the toilets, it literally took me 15 seconds, how come another client is more aware than the...
