The baddest dining experience ever!!!!!!!! 1. Racist! We are travelers from New York, and the waiter cutting ham keep showing us middle finger when we are eating! That’s so disgusting! !!! 2. Dishonest!I order 1 ham, they give us 4 and you can not return it! You have to pay for their mistake and I think they are doing this on purpose for earning more money. I see them doing the same thing for other tables too! 3. The food is bad! The steak is overcooked, and it is bitter. The taste is not worth the price at all. I hate this restaurant! The baddest experience ever happening in my traveling. If you want to eating with bad food, cheating, high price and a people showing middle finger to you all the time, welcome to this restaurant!

The waiter was like a salesperson and tried to fool you on ordering more food than you need!! We only ordered one dish of ham and he gave each of us one dish of ham. Same situation for all the other tables too and all people were confused!! We also ordered a lot of other foods for each of us, which was much more than enough!! I also saw the bartender showed the middle finger to someone several times which I don’t know if he is a racist or something?! Worst experience I had in Madrid!!! I can’t imagine if this happens in US or some other country! Don’t come here people!!

The food was fantastic !! Yes it was very very good with very tasty seasoning and the meat was cooked to perfection. I’m a US citizen I enjoy my meat and this place hits it with high marks. Claudia our waitperson was spot on! The tomatoes and two cheeses was out of this world, big beefeater type cut thick with an olive oil ( home made) and a very good balsamic vinegar was delicious! Kind of out of the way to find but worth the effort. The wine selection was good , our Valduero Ribera del Duero was very good !! Sorry I didn’t get a picture of the tomatoes.

I don't normally write negative comments, but this is the most awful restaurant in Madrid if you are a foreigner. We went there for dinner and asked for a seat. They told us to wait for like 5mins, and the server whispered with other employee (possibly the owner), and told us to go upstairs. We went up there and there was literally NOBODY without any lights on. We generously asked for a seat downstair but they did not accept our request without any reason. The server literally said "I don't know, this is what my boss told me." Their behavior explicitly showed a expression of racial intention.

I had had wonderful time in Madrid before, and this incident ruined our whole trip since it was supposed to be our last supper in Madrid.

Maybe it was just me, but I highly recommend trying other Spanish restaurant if you don't look you are from...

Fancied a late nite cap and a snack and used Google translate to order. I'd passed the place several times and always saw locals eating what looked like great tapas and enjoying beer. What I thought I was getting and what I got were very much different, of course I didn't realise this until after my order arrived at the table. In my head I reckoned my 20Euro treat would cost 35 to 40 Euro instead it was almost 70 euro for the food only. Seems they have a locals menu and a tourist menu with prices at the the two ends end if the spectrum. For reference I ordered a drink and gambons and got a very expensive plate of red ham and extremely expensive langoustine. After reading the reviews and going through the experience it appears quite true, they saw me come in and screwed me...
