Solid 3.5 stars. Pros: Waiter (the tall one, I believe there was only one waiter) was very good at his job. I do not know why the other reviews say that the waiter was bad. The waiter is very good; he attended to my needs immediately and felt very professional. He must be paid more. Interior design was really nice; they even had the history of the place all on the walls. Menus are displayed neatly. Atmosphere was good, although I don’t know why they only had one waiter. Must be understaffed or something. Cons: The food was ok, just not good or not the best. The fish I got (Surtido Ibérico) was not the freshest, and the bread was not crunchy enough. It was semi-fresh. The meatballs I got, there were only three meatballs on one plate and it tasted like microwaved meat. Just not good at all. Overpriced, a dollar per meatball is insane. Overall, ok, but not good. Definitely not good. In a global city like Madrid where the culinary scene has such good restaurants, this spot just cannot compete. Sorry, but that’s the truth. Props to the waiter though. Make the food fresher and I would have added one extra star.

The worst place in Madrid 🇪🇸, the food horrible, order fried chicken, burnt on the outside, raw in the inside, last year I was here and the food was excellent 👌 but, it changed management & the owner didn't change the outside menu and what they actually have inside the restaurant is food that was purchased from a food truck, the chicken was fried with feathers on it! The stablishment was empty in the inside we should have left! The owner is NOT Spanish & when I tried to pay he got loud at me, I responded look my debit card has to be inserted, he looked at me as if I was an extrange bug! I said to him, I'm from Madrid, borne and raise but I live in America! I know what I'm doing! HORRIBLE PLACE! the gentleman that waiter on us deserves a 5 🌟 his boss was also loud talking to him! The worst place in MADRID don't go there, the pork shops was hard like a piece of rock, didn't eat our food, nevertheless, we paid because it's simply the right thing to do! will not get my...

We stumbled upon this place and took a chance based on appearance and available seating. Being non-Spanish speakers we were at a disadvantage when trying to order so this may review may not be as accurate if you understand the local language better. However, in our experience this is not a good place for non-natives. We were given food that did not accurately represent what was shown in the pictures. Half the food we tried to order eventually ended up not being available. A glass of wine that was ordered never arrived. I asked for bread by pointing to another table that had bread and asking for the same thing. The waiter picked up the bread from a table that had just been vacated and not yet cleared and put it on our table to enjoy. (At least we were not charged for the twice used bread.) The waiters seemed too busy to be helpful for our table. All in all, it was not an...
