Tony Roma's — Restaurant in Madrid

The atmosphere at Tony Roma’s is nice and the place has a good layout, but overall, the experience didn’t really impress me. The staff were polite and friendly, which I appreciated, but the food just didn’t live up to expectations.

I came in for lunch and tried a few of their classic dishes. The portions were fine, but the flavours were underwhelming. Everything tasted a bit too generic and lacked the richness you’d expect from a place known for ribs and comfort food. It wasn’t terrible, but it felt like something you could get anywhere – nothing memorable or exciting.

Service was probably the best part of the visit. The staff were attentive and did their best to make sure we were comfortable. But when the food doesn’t match the service or the atmosphere, it’s hard to fully enjoy the experience.

It’s an okay place if you’re nearby and want something casual, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. There are definitely better options around for similar food...

The food was decent and service was pretty quick, but our server was pretty unfriendly to us (the one with the glasses). We came in at about 10:40, and a group of people came in after us. She took their orders first, and when she came to help us, barely spoke to us, despite me speaking Spanish to her. Afterwards, we asked for a dessert menu where she obviously rolled her eyes at us. She was reluctant to suggest one of the desserts because it would “take 15 minutes to prepare”. I asked politely to get a different dessert to go, and asked for the bill. She again barely spoke a word to us this whole time, and made it seem like we were a nuisance. Not a good...

Hicimos un pedido en Uber Eats 🚴 programado con recogida entre las 20.45 y las 21.15 🕘. Fui a recogerlo yo misma 🚶‍♀️y a las 20.50 el pedido estaba preparado, muy puntuales 😉 y notificando en la app 👌👏👏

Pedimos: Pulled Pork Burger 🐷🍔. Se puede elegir con pan de cerveza o pan Brioche 🍞. En este caso elegí pan de cerveza 🍺 (el brioche ya lo tengo muy visto/comido 🙄). La verdad es que en la foto 📷 de la aplicación tiene mejor pinta 🤤. En mi caso, cuando terminé de cenar miré👀 los ingredientes y no noté ni los aros de cebolla 🧅ni ninguna de las dos salsas que aparecen en la descripción 😞 (no digo que no estuvieran). Lo que sí puedo decir que el bacon 🥓 no está crujiente 🥲. Aún así, la hamburguesa estaba bien👍 Me parece importante‼️ destacar que la hamburguesa 🍔 va acompañada de patatas fritas🍟 (últimamente esto es menos común de lo que me gustaría😢). Me hubiera gustado 🙃 que la app de Uber Eats te deje quitar➖/añadir ➕ algún ingrediente🧀. Otros establecimientos 🏣 dejan hacerlo y en el caso de Tony Romas dejan elegir el tipo de pan🍞, por lo que se seguramente sería fácil añadir esto 😬🙏 Maple and pecans cookie 🍪. Se equivocaron y pusieron una brownie cookie 🙄😑. Creo que no fue un despiste porque en otro pedido que hicimos también pasó 😭. Así que recomiendo revisar✅🥸🕵️‍♀️ el pedido si se pide una cookie 🍪

El packaging 📦 me pareció bastante correcto 👍 Todo cartón ♻️🌎 excepto el envase de la cookie 🍪

En cuanto al local 🏣 es bastante amplio. Tiene terraza ☀️ con un césped artificial 🌿y unas vallas que limitan la zona.
