Friendly staff however for a Japanese restaurant food and delivery sub-par. Ordered edamame and misi soup as a starter: edamame was undercooked and salted with normal table salt, as opposed to large flake/sea salt. Miso soup arrived 20 mins later after having to ask, and was sweet - as if sugar had been added. Requested soba (buckwheat noodles) to be used with a beef dish, to be advised no changes possible. Requested no gluten (or low gluten) - of all the allergy symbols in menu, gluten-free (crossed out wheat logo) was missing. Change not possible. So had to choose a vegan soba/mushroom dish. This had the saltiest sauce I have ever had - was difficult to eat. Oh and the sencha green tea arrived in a nice cast iron teapot, but was given a western-style, white ceramic coffee mug?! Also no chopstick setter/holder. Lots to improve here, also recommend management have the chef train at a real Japanese restaurant and go over their ingredients and food safety/allergy standards. Ps why do relatively young servers in Spain speak...

Expensive for a franchise. Lunch menu is 12€, and the food does not look home made. It appears to be the Macdonald's 9f japanese food but expensive. My pasta udon was overcooked which is ironic whrn the place is called udon, they could at least do this dish well. There were only a very few pieces of chicken and very small inside the pasta. The dessert nutella and banana rolls was OK but it should have come with coconut ice cream and they have put yogurt ice cream as they run out of the first one. They could have at least offer me other options. I would rather recommend true japanese restaurants than...

Update:

Gave this place another chance and (surprisingly) it was much better. The waiters were nice and attentive. We didn’t even have to wait for anything - neither to be seated, nor for the food.

Happy they are not only reading the reviews, but actually doing something about it.

Old review:

The other day the waitress just slammed the menu on the table - not waited for us to sit down, not actually giving us the menu. And this is service? No smiling - fine, you can have a bad day. But respect (at least) is a must, in my opinion. The only reason I stayed...

Excellent taste, quality and presentation. The restaurant is mostly full and yet when you order for something it arrives very quickly to your table. I had chicken curry gyoza, Seafood panand curry rice and chocolate dorayaki for desert. All were absolutely amazing. You choose anything from the menu will be good for sure. I also ate at their branch in Barcelona, quality is consistent everywhere. Great service!
