We should have read the reviews before stopping for a drink here. It was sunny, and we chose a table overlooking the beach. They were playing reggae music, and the atmosphere was great until other people started smoking... Gone was the fresh smell of summer and ocean breeze. The waitress left the menu with us, but after 30 minutes toasting in the sun, there was no sight of any waiter or waitress to come take our order. My husband waved for their attention and someone finally came. We ordered the "fresh fruit smoothie" at 7.95€ and the "piña colada" at 12.50€ . Two more tables arrived, and they ordered and got served before we even received ours. Well... there was nothing fresh about the smoothie. It did not taste of anything at all, just one of those prepacked frozen pouches that they put in the blender. The cocktail was more of the same. It tasted of pineapple juice and the typical syrup-based cocktail. No alcohol at all, I would say. We brought this up with the owner, and she claimed the fruit was all fresh. However, she showed me a frozen pouch for any other flavour of smoothie. When asked, "Can you then show me a banana and strawberries if I asked you?", she said she didn't have any left as she had used them on the smoothie we ordered. Convenient, right? I refused to pay for it and just paid for the cocktail (despite having only drank half of it). I really DONT recommend this place. Just walk a bit further down the road, and you can get way...
Read moreThe food is tasty, the decor as well but the employees dont fit the place. Extremely stressed and rushed. No one likes to have a meal by employees running left and right and speaking from table to table. It hurts my heart to see places that look good from outside but once inside the internal management and the service and the time spent waiting for waitresses and waiters to come by and take your order and answer your questions is very unprofessional and extremely disagreeable. Summer after summer I have hopes that the place will improve but to no improvement has been seen and they are pretty abrasive and slightly rude in terms of communication...This is independent of the fact that it’s known that Andalusians speak loud, I’m not speaking about the volume but rather the tone and the manner. Best of luck...
Read moreAfter spending over €200 on lunch (excellent service but concrete bread rolls and a "tasty" mixed paella but with just 2 prawns and 4 huge lumps of dry chicken) a waitress asked us if we could move from the restaurant to the side terrace as they were clearly setting up for a large party. Then she said "no no, you´re fine here" but it was noisy as they were moving tables and chairs so we moved ourselves. We then asked for another round of drinks to enjoy on the terrace - absolutely not possible apparently: 4 times we asked of different staff members but the boss said "no". A very poor attitude from a restaurant where we have enjoyed many meals in the past. We removed the tip we had left on the table and we will...
