Chambao Marbella — Restaurant in Marbella

I booked this place for a small bachelorette lunch with 2 friends (both from Andalucia). The place is nice and cool, with access to the beach and a pool. We arrived early (13:30h) and we had a drink. We ordered food with the manager of the place (2 starters and a paella, also some bread). We had the first starter and 40 min later the wrong dish came as a second starter. It was very difficult to find an available waiter to 'complain' all of them looked super busy, running from one side to the other and I also felt sorry to disturb. I ended up standing up from the table and finding someone to help in few occasions. Second starter arrived 30 min later from the first complain. Then paella took like nearly 2 hours from the order time, it was good, overcooked but the flavour was nice. As a gesture of good will, they served us some frozen 1/4 lemons. When the bill came, they charged for 4 breads (they only brough 1), and the wrong starter dish, they gave us the 1/4 lemons for free. I complained to the manager again as the bill was over 200 euros and she took of 1 paella. To be honest, the place is good but I think they need more staff to serve customers and clearly I can tell there was a toxic work environment as waiters did not look happy at all. Brilliant 🤩 Excellent 👌🏿 We took a 20min walk from B51 hotel plaza suites / nice cool evening walk. On my wife (B*Y) Birthday over that bridge view of the moonlight along that path.
