John Scott's — Restaurant in Marbella

Lovely staff but not worth the trip if you have food allergies. Being gluten intolerant for many years, I have never found it so hard to order a meal before. I thing ribs under the understanding that my husband would have the onion rings. Unfortunately when my meal arrived I was also told that I couldn't eat the chips either as they were ordered in frozen and were not gluten free! I was left looking at a plate of small ribs with a tiny tub of coleslaw. when the lovely server looked at my meagre plate for €17.90! she offered me a salad to go with it. well what came out was undeniably fresh but was also tiny and there had been no effort to put a dressing on the salad at all. I thought at least the ribs were nice but no, half the rack was vile having clearly suffered from freezer burn. I received a €10. 45 discount on my meal which was little comfort after feeling like a freak for having a very common intolerance. We had also ordered chips for my friends baby as he had nut and egg allergy and we honestly couldn't risk letting him eat anything else here. We were literally unable to give them to him as they were so heavily salted it would have made him sick. The staff were lovely but more effort is required to train and educate on dietary issues! expect to wait a long time for a drink ..and dont dare ask for a beer after waiting 10 mins for a drink you will get a dirty look.and i was stupid to stay after waiting 10 mins for a second drink the waiter come over and said you want more drink .we fell about laughing a faulty towers moment .we moved on to Sinatra's .turn right and had a great night with out waiting .the waiters was fast and friendly .and the bar was double full . scotts had 8 people .and 2 left feed up with waiting .i dont leave many negative reviews but i had to with this waiting room.the filthy look the blond bird give my mate when he asked 4 a beer . and if they reply i had had 1 large glass of wine before i arrived in the bar come...

Was treated with incredible disrespect just for asking if I could take a call on my laptop at 12 noon on a Tuesday. I was the only person in the bar (everyone was on the terrace). The bartender told me if I wanted quiet to go to the beach (even though it was perfectly quiet).

I sat down far from the bar, ordered a latte and turned on my laptop for my call. He immediately turned up the music full blast.
