Went here tonight (a Saturday night) for dessert to be told that in order to be sat down, we’d have to buy cocktails too. Not long after we sat down, a blonde woman who had been hosting handed us the drink menus for us to look over. I ordered a drink with my waiter shortly after, but my two friends needed time. After, here comes this lady to verify that drinks had been purchased and when she saw that they hadn’t, she then quizzed them on what they planned on drinking. They needed time! Her focus was clearly on boosting the sales of the restaurant by speeding along the customers’ decision-making process without giving them the space to look over and decide without being pressured. Moving along, I left my retainer in the restaurant. Five minutes later, I return and tell the same blonde lady who had hovered to make sure we bought drinks what happened, hoping she’d be able to assist given we had just spent 50€ here and she literally shrugged her shoulders, making it clear that she couldn’t care less because “the table had been cleaned.” I am disgusted by the blatant lack of human decency. I served in Times Square for two years and had people come to me with similar issues, and never did I or would I have ever approached the situation so callously. Oh, and all of this after we were charged 6€ for bread we didn’t eat. This establishment and its staff clearly is money hungry and I wouldn’t eat here if it were the last thing open in Marbella. The food gets people in the door but the customer service keeps them there and that’s where this restaurant is...

We were sat down and then immediately whoever the service managers were came to table and asked for orders - I replied we are not ready. Then later we ordered for food, I took a bit of time to order for drinks.
I asked for a non-alcoholic drink San Francisco. Once I got my drink, I got a whiff of supposedly alcohol. I doubted myself and took a sip of it and then it kind of hit me - could be a placebo effect. Anywho I asked the waiter, he said there’s no alcohol… I still couldn’t believe it though. Then I asked a senior person on floor, he went to the bartender and i could see them arguing so in my head i was like oh crap I’ve been given alcohol. Later another person came to the table and he took a sip of it and said it’s not alcohol it’s the grenadine. But grenadine is sweet and fruity, not bitter and alcoholly.
From that moment, everyone from the management started to make me feel super uncomfortable. They came and asked my husband how was the food with their back to me constantly. Acted like I didn’t even exist there. I felt so so so horrible after being there. It was our last night in Puerto Banús and I took away a bad memory of it.
Oh and btw the food was super cold.
Wouldn’t recommend anyone try if they have questions about food or anything cause they’ll make you feel like an alien. Don’t know what the attitude and...

The food is where A1 truly shines. Each dish is crafted with high-quality ingredients and presented beautifully.
The standout for me was the slow-cooked halal lamb leg—tender, flavorful, and simply exquisite. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in every plate, and the menu offers something for every palate, including excellent options for those seeking halal or healthy choices.
