If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. Wow where do I begin I’m not even out of the restaurant yet and I’m having to write this to warn people to avoid this restaurant . Don’t waste your money. Waiters are so rude and were arguing with each other. My beef burger matched the red top my friend was wearing and if I preformed CPR to that burger it would have came back to life. This raw burger had my poor friend heaving over the singular restaurant toilet which by the way was a state as the toilet roll was damp. The rest of my party left half way through because of the negative environment created by the employees. It took over two hours to get our food for some of it to be raw and some of it not matching some peoples dietary requirements. My friend was also told she would get French fries with her burger and was served with stale lays crisps sprinkled in paprika. The waiters attitude towards my vegetarian friend and my friend with a gastric sleeve that ordered from the kids menu due to small appetite got judgemental questions and awful looks which is very triggering for many people suffering from this. For the price of the restaurant i would expect the manager to not look like she walked from the homeless shelter to her job. I think they need to reflect on their attitude towards customers and dress code as the employees who represent their business are not of a high standard. We went to McDonald’s for lunch and had a better experience there than in this restaurant. €286 down the drain. We also were forced to pay a ridiculous €27.50 for eleven slices of bread which was never requested and some slices were also wasted as there were multiple people at the table with a gluten intolerance. Not once during the four hours of our lives we wasted at this overpriced restaurant was anyone asked about dietary requirements. Holiday...
Read moreWe had a Paella with chicken and vegetables but after waiting half an hour for it to arrive they gave us sea food of which I’m allergic to and the server said try it try it and that it was her mistake. But we will have to wait another 30 minutes if we want the one we ordered. So we did wait. When it came the server dished up a few spoon fulls on eat plate. We tried it and the rice was rock solid as if they’d rushed it to be cooked. So I raised me issue and the manger came over picked up the paella dish and didn’t say a word (We hadn’t eaten anything but a spoon full each). We drank our drinks and asked for the bill, we didn’t expect them to have put the paella on the bill but they put both of them on there the sea food one which we didn’t order or eat and then the chicken one. If I had eaten more than a spoon full I would’ve paid. I asked the server why it is on the bill when we didn’t eat anything she then sent the manger over again who said we had eaten it as there was a lot missing out of the dish (the server puts it onto your plate for you) which I proceeded to tell him about but he did not want to hear anything and started shouting at me and telling my to ‘shush’ and then slammed down the new bill onto the table and told us to pay and get out. Would not recommend coming here at all because it seems them getting your order wrong is also your fault and then charging you for it also. Terrible manners,...
Read moreWe looked forward to lunch at PiCu, the menu seemed varied and not overly expensive given the setting and locality. We were seated quickly but this is where the efficiency stopped. The table we were seated at was filthy and we had to ask twice for it to be clean. Service was slow, with only 3 other tables in the restaurant being occupied. We finally order our drinks and food which came fairly quickly. The burger was nice, but inconsistent portions of the curly fries. I’d also expect for 20€ (ish) a burger to be nice. I have had more special eating experiences with burgers but also understand the limitation to make a burger remarkable. The Bernaise sauce that we ordered as a side came out cold and out of a packet which is a shame. The chef needs to look into some recipes or at the very least warm it so it looks home made! We didn’t stay for dessert due to the slow service and mediocre food. Plus a delicious ice cream shop next door is much more of a pull. This restaurant was one of the quieter ones during a lunch time in Puerto Banus and I can now understand why. There are so many other others in the marina to try - I would try all of them first, before coming here. Train your staff better, clean your restaurant, speed up service and offer food that matches the prices and I’d agree with some of the other reviews here. Perhaps just an offer day? But I have read similar...
