La Dolce Vita — Restaurant in Marbella

If you stop by in Occidental hotel, it's good place to have qood quality food, however if you aren't solo visitor and arriving at 10pm you have low chances to get food. The service is disappointing. I arrived at 22:05 to get light dinner, restaurant was busy, however half empty and they reject to serve me, justifying that they have spesial group and kitchen doesn't work for visitors. Funny enough that my mom finished her dinner just 20min before at the same place and no one told her that place is closed for external visitors. Moreover after living in Occidental 10days i noticed that other solo travellers had their dinner as well, who aren't part if any group. Kitchen is closed at 11pm. I asked 2 waiters whether I can have salad and one told me story about spesial group and another about closed restaurant for visitors. I hope after this feedback you will train you staff to align versions when kitchen can't...

I was not impressed with the food or service. The waitress didn't seem that interested in being there, and the service from her reflected that. Next came the appetizer, which was pretty good, but they also brought out some olives, butter, and pre-made bread sticks 2 per package. They offered it up like it came with the meal, which we discovered we were billed for it times 2 because there were two of us? Then the main which was depressing. I ordered Carbonara, which is not easy to make but not impossible. They totally messed this up. It was dry and not creamy as it should have been. Needed some Italian food, and this place did not disappoint. The service was excellent, our waiter was attentive and very helpful with the menu and spoke really good English. The food was great, and it really hit the spot. I had a steak and though it was cooked les then what I asked for I did not mind. The whole experience was great.
