It was very unpleasant second experience, after the first one I gave a second chance to this place, but tis time it was even worse. They treat customers without any welcoming attitude or service, they look at them only like cash bringers. My husband asked for his avocado toast additional eggs, and when they bring boiled eggs he went to ask for fried ones, and the woman (manager) was so aggressive and told that she doesn’t have any space at the kitchen to make fried eggs and they don’t have other eggs, he then asked why the waitress didn’t tell that they have only one type of eggs?! She replied that she doesn’t need to mention it, that he have to look at the menu (even this meal didn’t include any eggs, he asked for additional fried eggs). Then they’ve served the food, it was so messy, small bites of avocado thrown with green, like they’ve served dogs! Also that waitress came and in a rude form said to me that they don’t have other type of eggs! It was shocking. I was really excited to try this place as I was recommended by many friends and the reviews were great. Unfortunately upon arrival, the 2 staff members standing by the door, looked me up and down, ignored me when I said hello, I walked in trying to find a table but it was busy, when I was going to turn around to ask the rude staff for help, they were already happily helping someone else find a table, where I was completely ignored in this case. I have worked many bars and restaurants, this is unacceptable behaviour towards clients, especially new comers. I instantly felt horrible and embarrassed. I had to leave, I was not welcomed at all and it’s a shame because I know this place is great. Hopefully someone will see this and correct their staff and teach them about welcoming clients in. A friend told me about this place some years back. I never failed to return every single summer when in the area. Is it difficult to understand why? The food is tasty, healthy and heaven sent. Prices for that sort of yummy food is actually more than reasonable. It’s an honest place with honest owners and staff working hard to please their customers. I’ve seen many customers from the demanding “treat me like a Princess” the past years from the Gulf countries. They never respect anyone. So if staff feel the need to be firm- I applaud them.
