SAUVAGE Restaurante — Restaurant in Marbella

I had a big expectation going to this place. That was our last evening before leaving the Marbella and we have chosen this restaurant due to the great quality and service mentioned in the comments. One big disappointment. First of all, we haven’t received the starters at all. After, the men had took an order only from me forgetting my husband. After I asked if my husband can order as well they laugh at me and told me I have to wait. Then the other waiter came and took an order from both of us. Separately. We thought everything will be fine but it wasn’t - we ordered two starters and two main dishes and they again forget my husband’s main dish. The noodle which I have ordered were fine but I wasn’t impressed - super small prawns which were cut into a small pieces. The guacamole was seasoned with way too much lime. The bun was ok. A little gem of a restaurant, tucked away in a side street not far from the beach. Doesn’t look much from the outside but as with any good restaurant, the food is the star. The best way to describe it is Asian/Italian fusion. We had a starter of peking duck gyozas, which were delicious. Our mains were, sea bass on a creamy risotto, and linguine with prawns and mussels. El restaurante deja mucho que desear. Para poder ir a comer tienes que primero llevarte el chaquetón, ya que no está aclimatado y pasas muchísimo frío comiendo. Después la comida es muy escasa, te venden se supone calidad, a precios muy elevados, pero te encuentras un plato ridículo y mediocre. Por suerte voy a muchos restaurantes de alta calidad, y dispuesta a pagar un precio elevado por una calidad elevada, pero no es el caso. Ni te cambian de vaso cuando pides la bebida de nuevo, no es que te lo ofrezcan, es que te lo sirven directamente en el antiguo. Son detalles que denotan que no se trata de un restaurante de esos precios. Es un bar reformado para parecer otra cosa, con las fotos muy bien escogidas para no mostrar la verdadera cara. El camarero (o propietario) te comenta al principio las penurias por las que están pasando para pedirte que por favor le pongas una valoración de 5 estrellas, a la gente le dará pena y por eso tiene esas valoraciones el restaurante, por que desde luego no creo que se merezca más de un 2/3. Se hacen criticas pero no las aceptan, sino que se enfrentan y te intentan dejar en mal lugar.
