After experiencing a lot of average food in Puerto Rico we looked a little further and glad wee did. Me and my wife shared the prawns in hot garlic oil and that alone was worth going for. I had the gnocchi with pesto and it was delicious and so fresh. My wife had the steak which was also really nice.... though a little tip from her is we are from Scotland and she likes her steak medium rare back home but here that is more on the rare side so you might want to think about that as it seems it's normal in Gran Canaria to cook it a little less...but it's a personal preference. It's out 2nd last night and just gutted we only found it now as will most likely get a taxi back over and go again for our last night. I might have the prawns for starter and main lol and like a few people have said Isabella the waitress is fantastic and had great chat with her. And also spoke the the chef and he was also very friendly and importantly a great cook. Give it a visit! You won't be disappointed. And lastly considering the fantastic location the prices where also very good as back home it would be a big upcharge just for the view.

We were so impressed with this restaurant. As vegans we've struggled to find many decent options in Gran Canaria, and have had to make do with loads of canarian potatoes and padron peppers, and a few uninspiring pizzas without cheese. We stopped at Casa Italia last night after a day on the beach, and when we mentioned we were vegan, they actually brought out a dedicated vegan/vegetarian menu... the first we've seen in 9 days! Our server (and I think the manager) Nikola was so friendly and knowledgable, and we had some good chats with him. He talked us through the menu and what we could and couldn't have; I had a delicious bowl of gnocchi in a lovely tomato sauce, and my partner had a tasty pizza with no cheese but plenty of sauce and veggies, and a great crispy base. On top of that, we were brought complementary bruschetta before our mains came out, and afterwards, Nikola gave us some local rum on the house. Plus, we watched the most beautiful sunset as we ate. Amazing service, great food, gorgeous location. We are hoping to come back today!

Great food, great service from 'Isabelle: and 'Nico'.... They made us welcome on the few times we went in over our 1 week holiday. The food is great and well priced. Live football on too as a bonus!
