SOLIMAR — Restaurant in Mogán

This was the absoloute worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. Incredibly rude staff harrassing people on the street trying to pull them in and if the waiter isn't yelling across the restaurant, he is walking around with peoples hot food, still trying to lure someone in. The food I ordered was a mixed plate of tapas. The "tapas" in question was a mixed plate of indescribable fried things which I have never seen before in a tapas. The shrimp were filled with sand because the digestive string had not been removed. After the buzz boy asked me how the food was I told him it was really bad, but he didnt dare tell it to the two goons he was working for.

So if you're looking for a place where the waiters act like they're descended from Mount Olympus—arrogant, dismissive, and completely full of themselves, and where the food is so bland that it is just plain offensive to the taste buds—then congratulations,...

If I could give this place -5 stars I would. Whilst sat in the restaurant, the owner and his workers were giving verbal abuse to the staff in Casa Italia, telling them to slap the lady that works at Casa Italia. There was then around 4/5 men around the Casa Italia gentleman giving him abuse. They then punched him and was trying to get to the lady. It’s a good job the lady can stand up for herself. These bunch of men in Solimar are bullies!! DO NOT give them your business. You don’t not want to see fights whilst trying to enjoy your holiday! The food was poor anyway. We will now visit Casa Italia every day for the rest of the holiday as we have heard amazing...

Initially we were just looking for somewhere to have a couple of beers after a day on the beach. I'm so glad we stopped here. The food was excellent, the service exemplary and the view spectacular. We ended up coming back every night of our holiday and everything we ate was delicious. Steak, chicken, pasta, pizza, tapas. All lovely. I particularly recommend the mushrooms and garlic tapas and the sizzling prawns.
