The waiters here are a hoot. Don’t be fooled or turned off by them trying to get you to sit down here if you’re passing by trying to decide where to eat - they’re all super friendly and outgoing and just want to feed people good food. We actually intended on going here for dinner and were made to feel so welcome right when we walked up. The food was DELICIOUS and so inexpensive. For reference, we ordered a bruschetta, filet with a side of broccoli and canary potatoes, the king prawns in curry sauce, two beers, flan, and a lasagna (for takeaway) - total €62. Each item was so tasty and the service was quick. We would 100% eat here again.
The location is also ideal. There’s a large parking lot above the strip of restaurants, which is right off the beach. We saw a beautiful sunset when we went for dinner but I’d imagine the lunch location is prime for swimmers. The waiters all speak great English if that’s a concern for anyone. Absolutely eat here! Read moreThe food was really good. The owner's (I'm guessing) customer service skills need a bit of a brush up though. The restaurant does not close till 11pm and we came at 21.20 to order a paella. This seemed like an inconvenience and made us feel unwelcome. We were told the kitchen closes at 10 and the paella takes an hour to make. While we appreciated that we were served in the end, and it turned out the paella was ready within 35 minutes, the way the owner was talking to us felt rude and like we were problematic. By all means, we understand policy etc but this should be made clearer on services such as these or in the venue. When we were served we then felt rushed to leave. Again. Despite the closing time being listed as 11pm, we felt rushed to finish our meal before 22.30. The food was really...
Read moreWondering along Amadores beach looking at the many restaurants we eventually came to Monaco. Straight up I'm not a fan of the restaurant owners all asking you to come in and telling you their beer is cheapest, Monaco was no exception. However the menu offered the light lunch and refreshments we wanted so we gave it a try. Service is your first experience and it was excellent, waiters we're spot on and all very considerate wearing face masks. Drinks came quickly and the food (sandwiches with French fries for us) didn't take too long. On the whole it was very tasty, lunch for 3 was €18 I don't think you can complain at that. Looking about, others had ordered more substantial meals that all looked great. I would go back...
