My husband and I visited this place yesterday and it's quality of food and customer service blew away our mind. I was glad I found this place with marvelous food, beautiful sea views and exceptional customer service. Our hostess Catherina (or Christina maybe) made sure we were taken care of really well. She was very sweet and attentive. We ordered pork filled with mushrooms sauce, fresh fish of the day, mussels, bruschetta and cherry strudel with vanilla ice cream. Every dish was outstanding. I mentioned to Catherina how a similar dish I ate the day before yesterday was very disappointing at a different place and she made sure mine had good amount of sauce and to my liking. Their mojo sauce was also great. I highly recommend the bruschetta which was quite fresh and each plate was carefully made with fresh ingredienf them were stale like you usually find in touts. None of them were stale like in those touristy beach side restaurants. The portions of drinks and dishes were huge. Get a table with beach view and chill there as you get served with great food, love and attention. I chilled there for 2-3 hours as my husband went and took a dip in the beach and it was such a relaxing time there. I would totally go...
Read moreOrdered the grilled fish which should have been 12.5 euros, the waiter then started describing all the the things he could add to it for a sauce, sounded good so I nodded my head. He then asked if I wanted any starters, he came across a bit pushy but I politely declined. It took about 40 minutes for the food to come, not great but these things happen. The fish was pretty nice but there wasn’t much else going on in terms of side so wasn’t particularly filling. At this stage I just want to head on, I asked for the bill, the lady brings the card machine over and I just instinctively tap without looking. Only when I go to look to see if the card’s been accepted I notice I’ve been charged nearly 10 euros more than I was expecting, turns out I’ve been tricked into ordering something completely different to what I thought had. Overall a pretty...
Read moreLas Caracoles is one of our favourite places to visit whilst holidaying at Peurto Rico. Located at the beach, it's an easy place to sit and watch beach goers whilst enjoying some really fab food.
Their gin and Tonics are super nice, and the Red Sangria is the best I've had. It's super easy to drink (so be careful 😆)
The Gambas is on point every time, served with warm crusty bread to soak up all the garlicky oil. The selection of Serrano is 10/10.
This time, we tasted the Tuna tartare on the specials board, which was so delightful. And a standout for me was the smoked mackerel, so simple so delicious. It was slightly smoked and juicy served with some simple sides. I could have gone for seconds.
The staff are always happy...
