A Slice of Heaven in Gran Canaria – An Unforgettable Italian Experience!
Wow… where do I even begin? This little Italian pizzeria tucked away in Gran Canaria is pure magic. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warmth, laughter, and the incredible aroma of fresh, authentic Italian food. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and filled with that unmistakable Italian charm – like you've just walked into a family gathering in the heart of Sicily.
The owner, originally from Sicily, brings with him the true soul of Italian cuisine. The pizza? Hands down the best I’ve ever had – Crispy crust with the perfect balance of fresh, high-quality toppings. Every bite bursts with flavor. And the pasta… mamma mia! It’s like the angels themselves made it. Rich sauces, perfectly cooked pasta, and a taste that instantly transports you straight to Italy.
What made our experience even more special was when we returned for a second visit – the owner actually remembered us! That small gesture meant the world. And after our amazing meal, they surprised us with 4 shots and tiramisu on the house as a thank-you for coming back. I mean… who does that anymore? So sweet, so generous, and it honestly made our night.
The staff here are beyond amazing – so friendly, full of joy, and truly passionate about what they do. You don’t just get service, you get a warm, unforgettable experience. And let’s not forget the Lavazza espresso – sooo tasty, smooth, rich, and the perfect ending to a perfect meal.
If you’re in Gran Canaria and craving something authentic, heartwarming, and absolutely delicious – this is the place. A true gem, with food that’ll stay in your memory and people who’ll stay in your heart.
10/10 – can’t wait to come back again...

The pasta? Fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of personality. I tried the truffle tagliatelle and it honestly melted in my mouth – creamy, aromatic, just the right balance. The staff were super welcoming too, like they genuinely cared that you were having a good experience. That’s rare.
What I also loved was that it didn’t feel touristy or commercial – it felt personal, like you were being served by someone’s Italian grandmother (but in a super chill and stylish way). Prices were fair, portions generous, and the vibe? Relaxed, friendly, and full of great energy.
Definitely a place I’d go back to. Five...

Fast forward eleven hundred years and then head south twenty two hundred miles, and you arrive at Pasta Poke, Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria. Our family visit here, tonight, was yet another moment in history. Guided by Front Man Gigi and robustly reinforced by Chef Vincenzo, the Italian Cuisine was second to none that I have experienced in my (many) years. The pasta Al Dente was superbly riding a knife edge to Glory, and the delicate crisp surrounding the pizza dough would steal a hands-down win as an Italian wild card entrant in a French Macaroon show. If the wrestlings of your ancestors have favoured you with the chance to visit Pasta Poke, then I say,...
